Horrible company. They force me to use lyft drivers who show up late or not at all. If you have to change a time it is like pulling teeth and they get it wrong anyway. I have no idea how they are still in businees.Review from Darvis W

Southeastran is a horrible company I used this company to transport my sick mother to doctors appointment. You call book an appointment for pickup half the time they are a no show. The other times they will come but late and the facility will give them extra time and they still show up late the to the point the visit will be cancelled. I personally had to help load and unload the mother in out of van because these people don't wanna do there jobs.I filed complaint after complaint nwith the insurance company and southeastran and nothing gets done about the poor service Complain enough they learned who I was and tried to avoid talking to me or booking trips. If you get to an appointment the return trip you'll be waiting 2 to 3 hours for a pickup and it's all locally. Last we did paperwork for a stretcher service the Doctor fills the paperwork out sends it back to ************. They put in the system but who ever does admin intentionally changes the date of the paperwork to the previous year so that no rides can be book. This is not the way to run a company just because the employees and vendors don't want to do the job contracted to do File grievance and complaints nothing gets doneReview from Lithisha V

I recently have always rated them with 1 star customer service has always been terrible. Dispatch is very unprofessional, but I will add since the New Year I have received excellent customer service. The company name changed, and it seems like the workers did as well. Keep up the great worker as the new year rolls out . Sad to say it was my own kind always nasty and harsh on the phone with lack of concern for rides.Review from Sandy S

As a minority myself I cringe as this is advertised as a minority owned company. The "service" is below the one star I was forced to give. It has an extremely poor reputation in my community and the individuals who rely on this "service " are all economically disadvantaged and often minority. People frequently miss appointments and have their health impacted because they miss critical medical appointments because the ride never shows or comes too late to make the appointment.Review from Amy M.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. My father has a chronic health condition and is now wheelchair bound. ******** in my state only pays for Southeast Trans. We have called for a ride to appointments multiple times and have never gotten a single ride. If I had given short notice or asked for something unreasonable I might be able to cut them some slack. But I have always requested a ride 2 weeks or more in advance. One time they cancelled my ride without any notice. We were standing outside waiting in the heat for a ride that never showed. When I called they said they just didnt know how that happened. I had to call and cancel a surgical procedure that is very hard to get at the last minute. Then we had a Monday morning appointment and they called on Sunday and left a message that we wouldnt have a ride. Again I wont be able to cancel with sufficient notice. When I called to discuss I was talked over and told that the first cancellation was my fault because they tried to call and my voicemail was full. One that was never said when I called about that ride and 2 that is a lie. My voicemail is NEVER even close to full. I check messages after every call to make sure there wasnt a message. This company is HORRIBLE and it stinks that ******** doesnt give elderly, handicapped individuals to use a company that is rude, disrespectful and cant get the job done.Review from Michelle J

I phoned Southeastrans, located in Atlanta, GA on, September 28, 2021. I was calling to speak with the HR chief, ***** *********** I spoke with, ******* the receptionist, because she stated that, I could not leave a message for this individual, but she could send her a message from computer. I stated that the company needs to contact pertaining to a healthcare claim they will not pay for my husband.
I refuse to call the HR dept in, Indianapolis, IN, because the HR dept out their are rude, disrespectful and, I nor my husband will be disrespected by the HR indivduals ( ******* **** ****** and ( ****** ********* I am not understanding, how these individuals are still working for this company, but better people needs to be in place. I have still not received a call from the HR chief on my matter, I guess she feels the issue is not work speaking on, but it is, and you see, why so many complaints are given on poor communications with companies. I am still waiting on a phone call, but my next move will be with, U. S. Department Of Labor in Washington, DCReview from Hayley F

I had a horrible experience with this transportation service. I scheduled transportation pick up and a return home for my father on 5/27/21 for his first follow up appointment after an extended period of severe illness. I checked on the status of my ride the day of to confirm if there was a definite ETA for the scheduled pick up. I also wanted to confirm that my my mom would be allowed to ride with him. I was told the vehicle would pick up my dad at 2:32PM (I remembered the time the customer service rep told me because it was so specific) and that one passenger *** allowed to travel along with my father.
While we were packing up everything and getting my father ready, my mother spots the vehicle outside of our home at about 1:45 pm and races in to tell me the van was here and that we should head on out. I popped my head out the door just to confirm the vehicle was there and I did actually see the van and the driver opening the back doors in preparation for my dad's transport. I double checked he was out there because they did arrive much earlier than 2:23PM. After about 10-15 mins or so we were heading out the door and the vehicle was GONE. I called customer services a little after 2pm to confirm the status of the ride once again. She said the vehicle should be there between the time I had called and 2:30pm. I told her the issue was that I saw the vehicle and apparently the driver just left. After being placed on hold multiple times. The rep told me that she spoke to the driver and he said that he did in fact pick up my father and he was currently in the van. I said, I'm not sure how that's possible as I am his daughter and he is right next to me in his wheelchair at the door and NOT on the van. I was placed on hold again and the call eventually dropped.
After making a new phone call, I asked if there were any options available because my dad needed to make this appointment. I was placed on hold again and this time she said she had been in contact with the driver again and he said because we didn't come out in a 20 minute time frame we were considered as "no show" (according to their policy) and the ride was canceled. I said regardless of the canceled ride, I once again asked if we could find another vehicle to pick up my dad, because he couldn't miss this appointment. She said she would get in contact with the manager and we would take it from there. Manger comes on the call, rep asks me to relay the situation up to that point. Manager says that we were considered a no show as per their policy. I told him I admitted there was no verbal communication between the driver and I, I popped my head out the door and then went to get my dad. He asks me why didn't I communicate with the driver. I had previously admitted that there was a failure to verbally communicate but the driver never spoke as well. Is it also their policy that they don't call to confirm a pick up on the date, they fail to give customers a correct ETA, they fail to communicate when they actually have arrived and definitely fail to let the customer know when they have abandoned the service and have decided to be on their way. The manager told me there is a one hour window for pick up and that's why they tell customers "To be ready." I mentioned if I was told pick up was at 2:32 pm, should I have been ready at 1:45pm instead?? The manager explained that it is not their policy to confirm pick ups, to call and let the customer know they've arrived, to send text messages (although they do ask for the number of the person being picked up, why bother, when it's not their policy to call and confirm anything or that they have arrived)
Then the manager tried to push the gas reimbursement option, and told me they would reimburse any friends or family transported my dad instead. The whole point of me scheduling the pick up in the first place was because I had no friends or family with vehicles that were equipped or capable of transporting my dad. When you literally had no other options and that's why you needed the transport in the first place, how is this a viable option. This was a terrible experience. They have no regard or concern about the person that needs to be transported. After all that it took to get my dad ready, only to walk out to a vehicle that was no longer there, along with the whole experience with the manager just made me wonder why this company is in the business of serving people when they are literally putting their customer's health in jeopardy
