      I caught a Greyhound bus to *******, ** from ******, **. I connected in *****, DC to *******, ** at that time I realized Greyhound contracted with Flixbus to take us to *******, **. I noticed the bus driver dropped off two men then proceeded to driving us to *******, **. We were supposed to connect in *******, ** before 2:45 pm to connect with a bus to *******, **. The Flixbus arrived in *******, ** at 3:00 pm. Upon arrival I immediately went to ***************** I advised the woman that the bus was late she told me the next bus to *******, ** would depart the following day at 6:30 am. I asked the same Greyhound Rep where the next stop was and she said it was *****, **. Unfortunately, she said she didn't know where it would stop. This same person was rude. She didn't advise of any other options such as other transportation options, hotels or Greyhound policies on what to do when a bus is late to no fault of the customer. I ended up renting a car and drove 6 hours to *******, ** where I had to attend a conference. The car rental was over $300. Greyhound is the worst. You're better off walking. If I could leave less than one star I would.

      My greyhound bus ride was so nightmarish that I wound up having to take a plane, which Im terrified of, for my return trip home. The legroom for the seating was so non existent that my legs and feet swelled up dangerously. Many depots are not maintained and the bathrooms are unusable. Electrical outlets, WiFi are non functioning. Was stuck for almost three hours in ******* traffic with no air conditioning. And the icing on the cake, my luggage was stolen and Greyhound will do absolutely nothing to help find your loss items and they definitely will not compensate for any loss even though you are forced to store your luggage underneath the bus. They will not reimburse your cancellation and Im not only out of money, recovering from my trauma mentally and physically from the gruesome experience, but had to pay for airfare to get back home because I honestly dont think I would have survived another greyhound trip. Abysmal company. Dont use this company. Youll regret it. They dont care one iota about their customers.

      I bought a ticket to go to ** and had to reschedule it. It cost me about $89 to reschedule it bringing the total to $197. Only for the bus to break down in *******, **, and have us out there for over 9 hours. It took over 9 hours for them to get us another bus. Everyone missed their connections, and we were not even dropped off at the right location when we got to **. I had to have my wife Uber me to ********************* to take a train to ** because they said that our tickets were no longer valid because they passed the time. Are you kidding me? This is the worst possible company and I demand a full refund to my wife's credit card! I am definitely not done with this and will be reporting this to every outlet that will hear me. This type of stuff can't happen to people. There were children on the bus, what about them? This company does not care about its passengers and deserves to be closed down.Another thing, with the Washington location, you would think the people inside would have been more understanding seeing that we were stuck on the road for 9 hours. They were not helpful, and they didn't even make sure that the passengers were heading to the right locations. This is the reason the people going to ** were dropped off at the ******* location instead of the ***************** where they bought their tickets to go. Disgusting service. I would not advise anyone to go this route. I have tried with them several times now and can say don't do it! Two breakdowns back-to-back with my last two trips now with this one being the kicker! April and now June. I wonder how many times they broke down while I wasn't on them!Date of experience: June 09, 2024 Edit

      My daughter waited 5 hours at a greyhound bus stop in ******** ** heading to ******* on Friday April 12th. The bus never showed up and both my daughter and I called customer service and we were told the bus would not how up until 1am after waiting 5 hours. The customer service walked me through submitting a refund request. Got an email from customer service service stating they would not refund money but give a voucher. When I decline the voucher they start emailing me talking about there was no delay. This is bad customer service. Apparently there are two different customer service. The refund department t can only be reached via email. Really disappointed with the lack of accountability on Greyhound's part.

      Greyhound seems to be in business with a Flix Bus Line. But how are customers to know that the bus to *****, ** from ******* is not a Greyhound and does not go downtown to the Greyhound ************ terrible experiences with getting my sister to ******* and from ******* this year 2023. Once we waited for bus to come around 11 pm at ***** Greyhound station and it never came. Called a customer service person who obviously wasn't in **** She said that bus had come to *****. We waited until 2 A.M. Last week, my 81 years old sister was on bus from ******* and did not realize that the bus was a FlixBus and it stopped somewhere strange in ***** and she was unaware it was in *****. Meanwhile, we were waiting at the ***** station for the bus and of course it didn't come there. My sister finally called us and the bus had taken her to *****, **. The driver recognized that she was still on the bus in *****. This was after 11 p.m. at night and she's in a strange town. What kind of service is that? Anyway, Greyhound and FlixBus need to be clear on what is going on. Publish their schedules with the changes. Even the address online is incorrect for *****. One address has it at an old station address which has been torn down. Hopefully my sister will not have to travel Greyhound/Flix Bus after she moves to **.

      I've been trying to get to ******* from ******** ** for a few days now, to viait my dying grandfather. Greyhound has rescheduled my bus 3 times, and none of the busses have shown up at my stop at all, leaving me waiting for over 2 hours multiple times. They refuse a refund and won't let me transfer to another station that they will actually stop at. The customer service is a remote call center, so you can't actually speak to anyone working the stations over the phone. Two of my busses have been at 5am, the other at 5pm. None have arrived. I'm basically feeling like they stole money I barely have from me ($150), and the best they've been able to offer is an $8 voucher. I've never had these problems with greyhound in the past, but this week has garunteed they will never receive my business again.

      Greyhound *********** is extremely horrible!!! I booked a ride at 5:30am to ********* and they never showed up!!!! Waited over 2 hours!!!! Their customer service is extremely bad and now, they will not give me my money back!!! LET ME REPEAT, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Youre better off renting a car. I would give them zero stars if I could.

      Our ********-******* bus last 1/15/23 at 11:55 pm already departured 1 hour late. Along the journey, it broke down 4 times pulling over in the side of the road for more than an hour with no lights risking our lives. Nobody gave us any clue of what was going on. When it was running it went extremely and dangerously slow so we were more than 6 hours behind schedule and it was not until we were only 45 min away from the destination when the driver asked for a sub bus to come get us. It was the worst ride of my life and we ended up missing our 10:57 am flight. This service was totally unacceptable and we request for a compensation due to this huge inconvenience and absolutely unsatisfactory experience.Please, give me a solution as soon as possible because I want my extra money I wasnt expecting to spend back! I can provide all kind of screenshots and documents of these purchases. This money goes up to in total as follows:$104.42 Greyhound ticket + $77.99 Lyft + $261.78 flight tickets = $444.19

      I was on a broken down bus for 4+ hours, and on my trip home the bus was delayed 2+ with rude customer service to complete this awful experience. But it doesnt end there. My sons trip home was just as awful dealing with the ******* greyhound station, because his bus was OF COURSE late which made him miss his connecting bus(which stayed at the station for another 10 minutes after he was told he couldnt get on it!) only to have ************* him he couldnt stay in the station and wait for his next bus, and he had to leave the station! In a dangerous area of a city he doesnt know. So if anything happens to my son during this trip greyhound will have he*l to pay for their incompetence and inability to do their job!!!!

      My refund is taking way longer then they said and all the emails I sent still haven't got my money back. Yet a supervisor said I should have had it a week ago I've still not received my money back almost a month later
