Blue Haven Pool has been a night mare !!!! Paid for an expensive pool and got terrible service . Nobody takes responsibility of not doing their jobs correctly . The local owners won't call back .They want to text or tell you how to fix what they messed up and we paid for. So unprofessional.

Blue Haven on ******* Bridge Road built our pool quite a few years ago. Apparently, they did not close out the permit properly with the county because final inspections were never done. When our contractor recently tried to get a permit for a new sunroom project, they could not do so until the pool permit is completed. I called Blue Haven to help. They told me to do it myself since the franchise is under different ownership. I asked for the Corporate number to see if someone there could help. They told me they did not have time and that I could look it up. You can draw your own conclusions about customer service. I would not recommend doing business with this franchise.

As we tried to explain via phone call, we are a completely different pool company than the one that built your pool 20 years ago and unfortunately we have no way of helping you.We tried to explain that we don't have anything to do with the company that built your pool 20 years ago. We don't have any files from any pools that were built 20 years ago and we have no knowledge of any pools that were built by the former company as well as no way of knowing anything about you, your home, or your swimming pool. I was still in high school 20 years ago when your pool was built.We did try and assist you and explained how you could renew or pull your own permit as the homeowner and that you needed to contact your local government building department and explain to them what has happened and they should be able to locate any old permits on file and can help you either renew or apply for a new permit as the homeowner and get your final inspection done. Please follow these directions and you will find your solution. We apologize we cannot be of further assistance. Hopefully this helps clear your issue and you will remove this review as it does not pertain to this company.

Yes, despite your business having the same name, same telephone number and same address as the pool company that built my pool, it was made very clear that the current franchise ownership was not responsible for the permit not being completed with Gwinnett County. However, no assistance was offered whatsoever to me as a homeowner who is unfamiliar with the entire process. I respectfully asked for the phone number of a contact at the Blue Haven corporate office who may help and was told to look it up on line since they did not have time. I was given no direction about closing out the permit other than you can do it yourself as a homeowner with the county. Building a pool can be a complicated process. My preference is to do business with companies who have high standards of excellence and customer commitment. Potential customers should have the right to decide whether my experience is important to them or not.

We build roughly **** a year globally Your local government office will have record and they can assist you with renewing your permit as stated above. If all that remains is the final inspection that means that the Former Blue Haven Pools office that built your pool got every inspection required of them throughout construction and that you the homeowner either didn't have your fence up or your final erosion control(landscaping) completed as that is all that is inspected in the final building inspection.

Stay away from this business. Chance *** at Blue Haven Pools took money up front for a deposit to build a pool for me. More than 6 months dragged on of him blaming the city for delays in permitting to only find out that he never even filed a permit application with the city. The owner was full of lies and deceit the entire process. I threatened a lawsuit and was able to receive the deposit back and work with another contractor.

Our records indicate you were a contracted customer over 5 years ago but there was a failure to obtain the proper documents required to apply for your pool permit. You received a full refund and a letter of apology for our failure to obtain the proper site plan and drawings required to apply for a permit with the City of Atlanta. There is much more that goes into permitting than just sending in an application. There are many documents, site plans and drawings that must be done by licensed survey professionals. These documents must be provided before you can apply for a building permit inside the City of Atlanta. You were told that this process could take many months.

We have record of where our company spent $1500 in permit services in attempt to have these documents completed and can provide those invoices. Once you requested your deposit back you were given a 100% refund, despite us already spending money on your project. We understand that this added to the time it took to build your pool and we do apologize for that inconvenience however it is sad that you are righting a bad review after many many years have passed since this happened.
