We accommodated a guest for over three months brought to us by Temporary Accommodations. They first booked the room for 20 days and we agreed to a rate for only that period. They were not able to get this guest into her apartment so they started extending the stay as needed. Each time they called we made it happen for them but at no point, we discussed that we will continue to charge the same rate as we did in the beginning. It was summer time and frankly, we could not have accommodated this guest at the lower rate that we offered to them for the first 30 days. So we continued extending the stay and if required our record will show that each day the rates were different due to supply and demand. Sometimes they were higher and other times they were lower than what this company paid for the first month. Temporary Accommodation contacted me to discuss the higher rates and I advised them that we never agreed to a $119.00 rate for the rest of the summer and that I would not change the rates past June of 2021. They filed a chargeback in the difference of $2125.00 with their credit card company. Upon learning this chargeback, I contacted and spoke to someone in accounting and she was absolutely a rude woman who could not care less.
