I had the rudest customer service from an employee working for Nurock Management by the name of ***************************** working on moving people in at RESIDENCES AT ************* IN *******! she asked for my last stub early January I sent it her she respond to me that thanks will send to compliance division to confirm you will not exceed the limit so Im like okay this is good news because for the past week I been running around giving them everything they needed. So I emailed her this Morning for any updates. Because its been 2weeks She have the audacity to tell me still exceed limit will send to auditor Via email btw so that mean she never sent anything to anyone so I called her because I had a question idk what to believe from her 1 minute its this the next its that which I dont mind anything to get my place but she was *************** and hung up in my face because I told her about the email she sent me she told me I do not exceed plus what is so upsetting is that she had my hopes up.. if she was really focused on what she was doing she would not just tell me anything it could of just been a simple I will let you know what the auditor say communication goes a long way. ******************************** is the rudest , nastiest leasing office rep I ever came across. Her communication is messed up. They do not answer phones and give people the run around She is setting a horrible example for Nurock Properties and i have yet to receive an apology for the way she hung up on my face. And Im just simply a person looking for somewhere to live and this is the kind of customer service I received in her hands. I am a very understandable person if I exceed ok so well be it I tried. On to the next but the way I was treated was unacceptable!! And the fact that she was so nonchalant about me reporting her as in they wont do anything or maybe she had a complaint before and the company havent done anything but that is not acceptable.Review from Kemica J

0 stars!!!!! This company needs to sell their business to someone who actually care about the people who live here instead of cause more financial burden on us. What is a convenience fee for paying rent? Why can't I use a money order or cashiers check to pay rent? How come you are not fixing the apartments but charging your tenants your mess **** The economy is hard right now and your making things harder.Review from Jamie P

River Valley Apartments in ****** are the worst apartments I've ever lived in. We were told we would get new flooring in our apartment before we moved in. The day we received our keys the filthy carpet was still, uncleaned. There were maggots in the carpet, but management did nothing. We've lived here for 3 years now because we can't afford to move anywhere else in ******.Here are a few of the issues that we've faced while living here: We had no fridge for 6 days over the Memorial Day Weekend because management wouldn't send maintenance to check out the issue. We have 3 small children who live here.They cut the water off in our building for 48 hours without notice for repairs. Roaches are everywhere. Even when you request for your apartment to be sprayed nobody shows up. Two people have overdosed on drugs in front of our building because we have a drug dealer living in our building.The manager lied again this year when it was time for us to resign our lease. She said that she got an approval to have our carpets cleaned. Three months later when I asked her when it was going to be done, she lied and said that she never said that it would be cleaned.They changed the late fee to an incredible $160 to 360 after the 12th day. That is not in our lease agreement. Our lease agreement says $25.00 for after the 4 and $5.00 for every day after that. This apartment receives tax credit, so they shouldn't be able to just change the details of the lease agreement on a whim.Trash is piled high at the one trash receptacle for the whole building.The swimming pool is always filthy, so we can't swim in the pool that we pay for.I asked to have my dryer replaced because it makes a loud, terrible noise, but they said as long as it dries the clothes we can't have a new one. I pay $35.00 the washer and dryer.We have to have cable even though we don't want it. Adds $50 a month to our rent. Management argues and never takes care of business.Review from Dante H

Apply for an apartment and once I applied two days later before I could even get all the paperwork in they claimed that I was denied and that a letter was sent a letter was never sent I've been waiting two weeks for this letter of denial there is no reason why I would be denied and that they cannot tell you the reason why you are denied yet the property manager keeps telling me that they do have available units and I could qualify for this or I can qualify for that that they just need to get a hold of the corporate office to find out what's in that letter and once again this has been going on for 2 weeks their corporate office is less than an hour drive from where I currently stay and it does not take 2 weeks to receive a letter it seems as if it is a bunch of games that they are playing and no one has ever available at the corporate office either to get a hold of them for a copy of the letter that was so called sent very unprofessional and all they do is take your money I'd advise that you stay away from these propertiesNuRock Response

This person was denied, and clearly for good reason. Legally, creditors have 30 days to respond to a credit review, and in this case, that is what occurred.
There are no games being played, however we will forward Ms ***** ******** comments to the apartment membership the apartment communities belong to so they can be careful when reviewing this applicant's application going forward.
If this was a resident, we would gladly address any issues they presented, but this applicant was properly mailed the denial letter and this should have been the end of this,
We would advise all apartment communities to stay away from this applicant.Review from Cynda L

The property manager ******** and corp rep for Fort worth Texas fo not return phone calls. I moved out after 2 yrs in April 2021 and here it is Aug and still have not received my deposit back after I was informed the apartment was left in awesome condition. If any one knows how to proceed let me know. I have retained an attorneyNuRock Response

I am not sure why the Better Business Bureau thinks it is their business to address a security deposit dispute with a former customer.
She has retained an attorney, our policy it to not discuss in an open forum items that may be subject to litigation.Review from Tina C

My family and I have resided here for almost 3 years now and overall it has been okay. The main problem we've had has been with our ac unit since the very beginning. They always sent someone in to try to resolve the problem and get the air to work again and usually it does for the time needed. Currently the air is out again and my family are struggling to maintain. I understand that our health may not be their concern but it is mine. My daughter had a rough night and could not sleep because of this heat. She also, which happens to me as well, had a nose bleed just from the heat. This was last night. I've called the office and spoke with staff members a few times. I put in several tickets on the website as requested by the office. The problem still has not been resolved. Unfortunately it feels as though the office members are not truly taking the situation as seriously as they should and at least one of them seemed to have laughed at the situation itself. I am always polite, I am always patient and I truly try to give people the benefit of the doubt and consider what other things they may have to complete. It has been almost three weeks since the heat has been out this time and the temperature continues to rise. I'm hoping for a solution soon but at this point I am a very disappointed and dissatisfied tenant!NuRock Response

Good afternoon and thank you for your response. We live in ******* in the ****** ****** ********** Attempts from management has been made in the past however, the ac still does not work. It is currently 88 degrees on the thermostat inside of our home. As stated before, my daughter and I both suffer from nosebleeds caused by extremely high heating conditions. This problem has now existed since the weekend of the 4th of July. I really just need the matter corrected for the safety of myself and my family especially since the heat advisory has been in affect for quite a few days.

I have been reaching out to a manager at corporate by email and phone and still no response. I use to live at Sunset Point in Fort Worth, TX. The manager gave new tenants access to my garage and those tenants stole items out and I filed a police report that day. The manager apologized and said she forgot that was my garage and I have not been compensated on my items. I have now done a small claims since no one will respond and I had the papers sent certified mail and no one has claimed the mail. I am needing some assistance with this matter. I can't sue the tenants that did it because the office wouldn't give me the information I need to do so which Is their name and address.NuRock Response

When the tenant moved out, all rights to any storage facility on site is vacated.
These folks moved out and the new resident was entitled to the storage space. All items were considered abandoned
