Everything went smooth until it was time for my pay out.Was told by *********************** that my check was mailed out March 6th.It is now ***** 4th as I type this.Got in contact with a trip steps who says he's the director or head person.He claim he put a stop payment on my check ***** 1st,and would mail.ot out again priority 2 days tops.Sent me a pic of tracking tried to pull it up it says it isn't valid.The lein holder hasn't even received their payout.paying all this money on insurance every month but if something happens u get the run around.very unprofessional I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.Review from Caroline A

One of their customers caused damage to my vehicle and was found at fault so I called their 24/7 claim reporting number listed on their website. Almost 1 month later and still havent heard from an adjuster. Called back today and they said they have no records of my claim.Review from Philip S

These people are the worst.Got hit from behind. oct 26 2023. they sent third party adjuster. then said ,waiting on police report. i sent it to them. Then said ,waiting on investigation. that lady that hit me had medical problems. Overt a month now trailer totaled. back bumper on truck. where will the excuses ******* quit taking call. everything is a run around. can't believe these people can do this. no regards for other party. these people should not be in business.Review from Crystal L

Well they continue with *OOR A-S CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Daughter and granddaughter hit by a consumer of theirs. He too wasn't paying attention and rear ended my daughter and granddaughter!! The other driver received the tickets and i'm sure his car is repaired. But, my daughters isnot! First of all she drives a SUV inwhich the car seat fits. Oh no, they assign her a shoe box andthen want to complain bc my daughter didn't put the baby on the luggage racks for transportation!!! By the way, the leasing company didn't have any shoe boxes,so she got what car fits the carseat, Rogue. Two other body shops refused us bc of Southern General/Insurance House bc they don't deal with them bc of bad rep,not wanting to pay their labor rates, agreeing then disagreeing of payment, length of time it takes to have car adjuster and office talking to each ******** employees) don't want to continue to pay for rental car. Why is this company still existing Commissioner ****?? Why should the person who was injured have to go thru this CRA*?? Mr. * wasn't watching in front of him? What was he doing?, texting, on the phone, WHAT?? Is it time to take it to the next level??? Last 4 #'s of claim: ****. They were given the required info to extend rental bc body shop wouldn't accept their insurance until estimation and repair were approved. This is the 1st for me!!!! SG, get your work ethics a review bc it seems anyone who has to deal with your company is CRA**ED U*ON!!!! Are all ********, ** businesses like this?? Horrible customer service! Took two weeks and over 15 messages to get anyone to call me back. Kept using stalling tactics - no police report (which I then sent them) -waiting on dash cam (which I then sent them) all of which were not my responsibility. They are the worst insurance company I have ever delt with and would never recommend!!!Review from Clay H

One of their customers backed out into the street, hitting my wife's vehicle as her and my 5 year old son were traveling. Its been almost a month now and they sent an inspector to the body shop, but have since stopped answering their phone and Im pretty sure they have my number on some sort of straight to voicemail system. They sent two letters saying something about conducting some sort of investigation and thats the only communication we have had with the claims representative, ***************************. I am turning it over to GEICO and letting them handle it. It is absolutely ridiculous that a business operates like this. I would rather drive around with no insurance and take my chances before dealing with a third rate place like this. Pure garbage. I called and pressed the buttons like I was making a payment and a lady picked up in less than a minute. She said she is sending my info to her supervisor and I should get a phone call today. If not, it will be a visit to an attorney first thing Monday morning. These people are useless.Review from Zelenka H

This company has been the worst and avoiding any and all responsibility from their "at fault" insurer. I was at a complete stop/stand still when their insurer rushed and hit me from the back and caused damages to my truck/car that they chose not to pay for the damages. April **** Claims Adjuster. Claim number: ******* Per my email ***** consulting again with my personal attorney for legal advice on this matter. I NEVER stated I hired an attorney. By law I have the rights as a US CITIZEN to seek legal advice from any & all attorneys in any business matter. Moving forward, I took the **** out of my busy schedule to take time off work just to reach back out to my auto body collision shop for more understanding of the parts you guys "Southern General " submit over to me via email on December 3,2022 from you guys collision shop "******************" located in *********, **. Upon review we ******** auto body shop) notice a very important factor that "******************" have listed inside the enclosed estimate statement you emailed over was the wrong part number for my 2007 ****** Tundra SR5 Double Cab Truck. The findings are as follows:****************** for Southern General part number PT22834073 "trailer hitch dealer" THIS IS AN INCORRECT PART NUMBER FOR MY TRUCK. This part is for a ****** Tacoma. I DO NOT OWN A ******* TACOMA "The correct part number is 519080C040 which is the same exact trailer hitch that is currently on my ****** TUNDRA that your insured "************************** "damaged. All other ************* numbers are correct on the estimate EXCEPT the trailer hitched part number. I asked this be re- review, adjusted to the correct part number 519080C040 so we all can move forward in this matter. Also, I have attached a photo of my vehicle that shows the correct part number that was listed on MY estimate that I submitted over to you guys on 11/30/2022.If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me via email or phone..Southern General Insurance Company Response

My mom's car was involved in an accident on 7/27/22. A person this company insures was found at fault on the police report. I contacted the adjuster multiple times and spoke with the manager. My claim was denied because I needed a video or additional witness. The police report was not sufficient! I have since contacted the Insurance Commissioner of GA to file a complaint. I simply wanted my mom's car repaired. She didn't claim whiplash or back injures-just repair! Individuals and companies need to do want is right and FAIR! You are not an accredited business!!! Your client hits my mom's car and was found to be at fault. I want to speak with the *** and not someone who continues to make ridiculous claims. When has anyone needed a video when the police wrote in the "police report" the individual that was at fault? Is there a lawyer reading this that can help me and others stop this nonsense? Any recommendations out there on what my next step should be? I already contacted the insurance commissioner.
