For backstory, I am the only Black person and/or person of color employed at Field Services **** in ******************, **. On previous occasions, co-workers, whose names will not be disclosed, have said the 'n-word' sitting right next to me and in a conversation with me; overall making my experience at this business uncomfortable from the beginning. The same co-workers have also made comments about a historical holiday, Juneteenth, and disregarded it as if it wasn't so. Fast forward to August 10th 2022, having worked two days and two hours of the week already (with no problems), *************************** (employer) fired me or in her words, let me go because I "wasn't the right fit for the job". I would understand if it was my first week, but after working almost two months already for this business I think they would've known way before. And on the exact same day, they hire another employee who is not of color, or black. They gave me no legitimate reason for firing me as I always did their work and everything they asked of me. And of course I know they legally have the right to do so by hiding behind "at-will" employment, but I believe Field Services participated in wrongful prejudice and discrimination. This business is unprofessional to say the least and needs to be watched more carefully.

Field Services **** is an equal opportunity employer and discrimination in any form is not tolerated. This former employees claims of slurs and unacceptable conversations were never reported to management and cannot be corroborated with current employees. Any reported instance of prejudice or discrimination, including but not limited to use of racial slurs or cruel remarks about national holidays, is disciplined immediately and with the highest importance. This employee was not fired for her race, gender, creed, or any other personal identification and classification. Unfortunately, the employee was terminated within her known 90-day probationary period due to a variety of reasons, none of which are related to her race, but solely related to her attendance and performance in the job position. This employee was trained to complete the roles tasks and then inform another employee of her completion so further training and tasks could be assigned to her. After multiple reminders and all training efforts exhausted many times over, she continued to not follow instructions and was unable to complete her tasks without repeated errors. This employee missed multiple unplanned days during her employment and was regularly late for her scheduled shifts. This employee also demanded working hours that did not fit the hours of which she was hired to work. She accepted the position at Field Services, Inc. with the understanding and agreement to work Monday through Friday beginning at 8:30am and ending at 5:30pm. On July 31, 2022, via text, she notified *************************** that she obtained a second job that would require her to leave at 4:00pm instead of 5:00pm every day as of the next working day. Upon managements flexibility in agreeing to adjust her shifts ending hours, she was requested to begin at 8:00am instead of 8:30am and agreed to do so.After repeated late arrivals against the agreed hours between management and the employee, the employee showed that she was not fit for the roles demands and requirements and was terminated prior to the 90-day probationary period.
