Our company was hired to install a fence at two of **************** properties. When the sales associate did the layout of the property we will contracted to build a certain amount of fence. On the day of the install ************ refused to allow part of the back fence line to be installed, in order to save money. Once the invoice arrived he called and complained that they did not fill in that side, the same one he took away the day of the install. He refused to the pay the invoice until it was installed and he refused to pay for it. Our installer took care of that fence line just make things right. But it's been a month he is now ghosting us, his voice mail is full and he will not answer.Review from William H

I was contacted by Mr. Fred **** and Shemar ********* (His Grandson) to produce 3D renders of a property they were seeking to renovate. They provided me with a floor plan, which is customary practice of any business that wants a factual representation of a model, and began construction of the project. Considering Mr. **** had a successful business and assured me he was a man of his word, I began to do the work without requesting a deposit, looking back, this was a foolish decision.
After drafting the first and second floors of the structure and showcasing them to Mr. **** and Mr. ********* in a draft form, I was told that I had not completed the project as the second floor was modelled incorrectly. I assured the gentlemen that I had in fact modeled the structure to the exact specifications of the floor plan provided, to which they stated that the floor plan was incorrect. Prepared to send Mr. **** an invoice for the hours I had logged, I allowed him to send another layout of the house to which I remodeled the asset and sent it for approval.
Once receiving the second round of draft images, Mr. **** still insisted that the layout was incorrect and provided nothing else in the form of references or other documentation I would need to complete the job. He did, however, aggressively describe the desired changes to me over the phone, which is very unorthodox for the seasoned professional he claims to be. I drew up some mocks and sent them to him for approval this time, just to be sure the changes he vaguely described over the phone were correct and he approved of the changes. I then made the alterations in the CAD software and sent them, yet again, for approval and was, yet again, told the model was constructed incorrectly.
Having accumulated a number of hours on the project, I decided to go ahead and invoice Mr. **** for the work I had already completed to which he responded stating that he was not satisfied with the work up to that point and suggested that I lower my rate. I notified Mr. **** that the work completed at that time was a direct reflection of the resources and materials that he provided and suggested he provide more documentation so that we could reduce the number of miscommunications concerning the build moving forward. I also iterated that I would not be lowering my rate and found it to be offensive that he suggested such a notion considering he was at fault for the misunderstandings. I urged him to process the invoice as a 'Show of Good Faith' before I completed any other work to which he refused to do.
Shortly after, I was contacted by Shemar ******** assuring me that his grandfather was just hot-headed. He apologized for his behavior and requested the drafts I had, to which he claimed he would process the invoice receiving. I agreed and sent him the drafts (Keep in mind I watermark EVERYTHING until I receive payment). I contacted Shemar the next day to inquire about my fee and never received a response. To this day I have not been made whole for the time I invested into their project.
I consider this to be a lesson learned and will adjust moving forward, but, my message to anybody considering doing business with Mr. **** is to head this warning. This is a crook, a liar and a wolf in sheep's clothing if I have ever encountered one and I would personally not ever do business with this man again.Review from William H
