We recently remodeled our master bathroom. Our experience with Cer Custom Renovations was exceptional. The cost and time frame to complete our project were exactly as drawn up in our contract, no surprises. A week after the remodel was complete I got a call from ***** to schedule a walk through to take care of anything I wanted tweaked. All around great customer service. We would definitely recommend Cer Custom Renovations.

We used CER Design Build for the renovation of our kitchen that was competed in June 2022. ***** the owner was super responsive and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. *****, ***** and **** and his crew was awesome. My dream kitchen I had designed in my head came to life, they were able to capture all my *****************. We roughly spent around $128,000 on the kitchen. Even through budget constraints and having to make changes accordingly, to 92 days without a kitchen -we couldnt be happier with the kitchen and how everything turned out. Its a super impressive kitchen and I would absolutely use ***** and **** and his crew again.

Hiring ********************************* was the worst decision Ive ever made. After spending about $75k of the $114k price tag, only about 1/3 of the work was done and the job had been going on for months with no activity for several weeks at a time. During this time, the back of our house was open to the elements - with temps ranging from below freezing to triple digits - with nothing but an old quilt covering the opening. Rain was pouring in through the bare plywood roof deck. After multiple failed attempts to reach him, ***** finally called me and demanded $25k more money (on top of what was left) to finish the job, at which point I contacted an attorney. Subsequent investigations showed that the work that had been completed was done so poorly that it wasn't safe; for example, a two story porch and deck was attached to the house with a single lag bolt. And an opening that was created from the existing structure to the new construction wasn't given a proper header. Essentially, the back of our house could have collapsed at any point. And that's not all of the problems by far.After talking to previous employees and subcontractors I confirmed that ***** is a scam artist. He is not licensed in Georgia; has no physical business address, insurance, or bond; and couldn't get a permit. He used money from our job to pay for other jobs, doesnt pay his subcontractors, and posts fake reviews of his work.Our attorney suggested we file criminal charges, and now I wish we had done so to save other people from this experience and maybe have shut this criminal down.In the end it cost us $100k more to remediate what ***** had screwed up and to finish the build properly. We interviewed several other contractors who refused to take on the project because it was such a mess. Most suggested that we tear it all down and start over again.We attempted to **** but ***** doesn't pay his taxes, so his property is drowning in IRS liens that equal far more than the value of the property itself.
