I have always enjoyed my experience at Cheesecake Factory. However this was an experience my family will never forget. April of 2021 my family went to the Perimeter Mall restaurant for dinner. We had a 3 hour wait because they were short staff due to Covid-19. We wasn't told this until after the 21/2 hour wait. Then we were given 30 minutes, then another 30 minutes. It was too late to go to another restaurant so we were seated and waited another 20 minutes because it was only ONE waiter serving about 6-8 tables in our section.
It was 4 adults in our party and we all knew what we wanted to order. The waiter was friendly but overwhelmed. We were brought back the wrong orders. My Veteran brother is blind and upon returning from the bathroom he slipped and fell on the floor next to the waiter against the wall. My brother head hit the table and marinara sauce was spelled all over the table and in the drinks. My husband got him off the floor and the waiter went to get new drinks. He didn't asked if my brother was okay. (Zoned out because he was overwhelmed)
We were too tried to eat or complain. Therefore we asked for go plates. I called that following Monday to put in a complaint about what happened. To make matters worst we got home to discover we was given the wrong food. I spoke with 2 managers Clark and Garrett. Garrett apologized they were under staff and do to Covid-19 it's been hard to find help. He said he would credit my $168.00 back to my card and I offered to return the food which I keep in the refrigerator for proof. The food was dry and had wrong items. As of today July 2021 I haven't received a credit on my card or a call about my brother fall. He had one fracture rib that has healed now.
Cheesecake Factory you guys was one of my top 5 places to eat. You have shown me I was wrong, too many 5 star restaurants more deserving of our family business. The 2 stars I gave Cheesecake was for waiter because it wasn't he's fault he was serving all of the tables alone.
