DKM/Competition Clutch knowingly sources release bearings from a non-OEM supplier and claim them to be OEM. None of the same quality checks are in place with the non-OEM supplier and the company has admitted on recorded phone calls that the parts are not inspected properly and have had numerous quality issues. The automotive community has fell victim to this poor product quality causing premature clutch failures and subsequent damage to drivetrain components. I personally have had experienced two failures with the parts supplied by DKM/Competition Clutch, the second instance the failure occurred within months of installing the brand new parts. I have attempted to reach a fair resolution with the company to the effect of being reimbursed for the labor to replace the clutch assembly in my vehicle. However, the company has been dragging out and delaying the issuance of this payment for over a month now. My vehicle has broken down several times while I have patiently waited for the customer support team to issue the payment as promised. I suspect they are attempting to delay this as much as possible hoping that I will just pay the bill myself and go away. If a proper investigation is done, I am sure the lack of quality control and subpar designing will become evident and therefore show the gross negligence of the company. As mentioned, I am one of many individuals who have purchased goods from this company and have suffered the failures due to the incompetence of the company.
