In May of 2023 I purchased a used ********** Passat 2016 from Toyota South and began having problems immediately. The worst problem is the oil light that comes on every 2000 miles, even after an oil change. Finally a mechanic told me he remembered this vehicle being on a "list". I went on line and accessed the **************** web site and under recalls found automobiles and found www.nhtsa.gov/ vehicle and entered my vehicle VIN number. I was shocked to see my 2016 ********** Passat was a recall. With all of the issues going on with this car, this revelation made perfect sense. This vehicle is listed as unrepaired. Toyota South Atlanta does not honor their warranty or care about customer's lives. On 2/5/24 My car from ********************** almost killed me for the 3rd time within the last 5 months. This is a car that I bought brand new from them less than 2 years ago. The engine suddenly stopped and started showing many system malfunction messages on the highway while I was driving to work. I had the car towed to Toyota South Atlanta's services.On 2/8/24 my service advisor called me and said ******************* could not find anything wrong with the car, that it was working like normal, and no failure codes were showing. I asked her how that is possible when I have pictures of the failure codes and can send it to her. The service advisor told me that even when she looked back at the history, the only failure codes that showed were dating back to the car when it caught on fire (which was the 1st time the car almost killed me). She also said ******************* was super busy so doesn't have much time to look at the car, but will hold on to the vehicle until he can look at it. I told my service advisor to call my brother and tell him exactly what she told me. It took multiple calls for my brother to reach the service advisor back, and her story changed when she realized he was knowledgeable about Toyota. The service advisor told my brother they actually saw the failure codes, but they erased them. On 2/14, a Toyota corporation case manager said that I'll get loaner vehicle and my service advisor would call me within 1 business day. I got no calls. The whole service **** never picks up their phone, so on 2/16 I went to the service manager's office to acquire about my loaner. He told me that he was expecting to have a loaner available that day or the next, and would call me. Still no calls. I called my service advisor twice on 2/19 and on 2/20, left voicemails but no response. They have kept my car for over 2 weeks. They sold me a car that put my life and my job at risk.Review from CHRISTINA M

Attempted to get our vehicle painted under a Toyota Recall. The man who handles recalls at the collision center inspected it in February 2022. We have waited and waited for a date for painting. He went out on medical leave for two months and apparently nobody handled his job. Ive been emailing and calling for months with no answer or being sent from voicemail to voicemail. I have now been blocked by that employee after reaching out to the general manager. Guess Im going to attempt to reach the owner and go to corporate.Review from Linda B

Toyota South did not honor my warranty on my tire rotation. I have a warranty on my invoice that states that I have a FREE lifetime warranty on tire rotation. A very rude tech refused to give me a free tire rotation and NEVER told me a real reason why. I spoke to a sales manager and he made the tech give me a free tire rotation. But the tech stated that it will be my last. I called and left a message with the Service Manager 3 weeks ago and he NEVER returned my call. This let's me know that they do not stand behind their words or agreements. I will NEVER go back to this disreputable place again.Review from Dee C

My vehicle has been at this dealership for over a month and is still not fixed. I am unable to get a loaner vehicle from my extended warranty department due to them only providing one if my vehicle is being worked on. My car has been sitting at the dealership for going on five weeks. I have stressed that I have no other vehicle to drive and the sense of urgency to have my car fixed in a timely manner has been a nightmare. This whole experience with this dealership and their lack of communication has been insane. I am never able to speak to anyone by phone. All they do is transfer you to voicemails which are usually full. I cannot believe I am going through this with a dealership! Unbelievable.Review from Shantae W

Dont shop !! Dont shop This place is a rip off I bought a Toyota Camry from the May 27 2023 I didnt bring the car home until June now I ask over and over again did yall check the whole engine to make sure everything is ok now October I take the car in and they say the transmission is gone how , I spoke with sale, and service and they say why did you buy a car from us with miles on it and we cant fix it because the warranty gone but why yall sold me this car less then 5 months and this happen it not fair to at all and the only they say why did you buy it are we can put you in other car! Also keep in mind I called them for about a week and left messages and no one never called me back its not fair they are selling cars to customers and the cars dont work and refuse to fix the issue at I think they need to be close down I paid for a car now I have to pay for a transmission I even ask that we go half on it because thats only fair and they still said no at all no care at all they sold me a car that the transmission was going out !! This plaice have so many complaints I will be reaching out to everyone I can we all need to contact the owner and insurance company for car because they can not be allowed to do this to customers that are paying for cars to get ripped off by a big dealership like this..Review from Joannes W

There is an aggressive and DISRESPECTFUL level of pressure applied to customers here. The Management here, if they are condoning it or even pushing AGGRESSIVE sales tactics need to be ashamed of themselves. I refuse to let ANYONE coerce me into a car sale or force me to believe that I shouldn't be *********** options. A vehicle is an INVESTMENT, and NO, you are NOT going to rush me into making a decision. They could have had a car sale today. But instead, they decided to be absolute as*hole** and treat me like scum under their shoe. I will never come here again and will be sure my entire ******* PLUS following via 3 social media fronts don't patron here either.Review from Katrina H

I bought a 2018 Toyota Rav4 on May 24. We were told during our test drive the tires were new, The reason we asked was because we felt a bouncing, the sales consultant stated it could have been a balancing issue and he took it back and got it balanced. We bought the car, my dad drove my car home for me and did not say if he felt anything so I drove to work the next day and felt it, upon getting it checked I was shown all tires were different, I called the dealership and was told I did not purchase a CPO so nothing they could do. I spent $1000 to get tires and alignment 2 days after the purchase. I still felt the vibration so got it further inspected and was told it was the hub bearings and was quoted $700 for each side and $100 for another alignment and the ** belt tensioner was going out . So I called Toyota again to speak a manager and no returned my call. After around 1.5 months I called demanded to speak with one. For 2 weeks the manager told me he gave my problem to service and never got a call back. I finally had a day off on 7/27 and showed my face up there the service manager said he a was never told about me calling that the car was never inspected before I bought it and it should not have been sold without being checked out first and he was going to have the car inspected and take care of the issues and give me a loaner. I take my car back up there on 7/28 they inspect it and said the bearings do need to be changed, but will not fix the ** issues that sales and him got together and they did not want to really fix the bearing issue but he decided to do it so he could not do both. I've had these issues since buying the car and should not have to put this much money into it this soon, if it was a buy here pay here I would understand, but not a reputable Toyota dealership. I have an appointment on 7/31 to get the bearings changed, but there are still other issuesReview from Don Y

Hi I purchased Toyota OEM Tow Hitch and wire harness from them on June 29.The website states their price is $277.30 and the wire harness for $153.40 and they charged me shipping for $118.63 for a total of $549.33.Today 7/10/23 I get a email from them saying Thanks for placing an order with us. Your order has been placed on HOLD. The part number you ordered is incorrect pricing. Part number is pk960-42k10 and it is $529.55 compared to the incorrect price which was $277.30. If you would like the correct part, please give us a call at ######### and reference order number ####### so we can collect the additional $252.25.Review from Patricia C

My experience with this dealership has been not good. Will I recommend a friend no because the repair service department gives me the impression there is someone that doesn't know what they are doing every 3 months it's repair time they tell me the car is old. But, I take care of my vehicle.
