My husbands vehicle has been at Kia Mall of Georgia Service for a few weeks now. It had to get a new transmission. I understand it took a while to get the transmission, but what my problem is the lack of communication we have received from the service department. When my husband first dropped off (I was also there); we were told it would be at the end of June beginning of July to get completed which I understand. We called on July 3rd and after multiple times of calling we got someone to tell us it would be ready on July 5th or the following Monday. Then we called again on the 8th and we only got a response after multiple calls and one email including the service manager. We were told last Friday the 12th. On Friday we called again and told today. This morning, I started calling at 11. I left two voicemails with the Service Manager. Then I called back and spoke to the receptionist. She was super sweet and told me she went back to the back and they would pick up. Then I was put on eternal hold. I called a total of ************************************************************************************** but I understand she can make anyone pick up the phone. She took my information down and said *************************** would call me back. She wouldnt give me his email or direct phone number. The lack of communication is unacceptable. I need to know what is going on with my husbands car. We are down a car and need to turn in our rental.Review from Megan H

As a long time customer we are appalled and how we have been treated! We purchased a *** ****** in 2019 and purchased the Endurance "gold" coverage warranty in which we were told this higher cost plan would cover most everything. We have had all our maintenance, repairs and service work done through them with the exception of 2 oil changes. We have all documentation and paperwork for everything that has been done on the vehicle. On March 5 we dropped off of the vehicle to be checked out for a *********** consumption. The next day we were notified (in writing) that it would be covered under our warranty and they would get things started. We received correspondence for a few days following the initial communication and then suddenly our "service advisor" stopped communicating. After a few check ins and no response we reached out directly to the service manager. We were getting very few responses and continued to get the "run around." After several weeks went by, we knew something was wrong. When we finally got in touch with **** they stated that they had "misplaced" our key and they would need time to find it. They also stated that the warranty had now expired (on March 7) and that repairs would not be covered. We dropped the vehicle off on March 5, received written correspondence March 6 that they would begin the warranty claim that day so that repairs would be covered with an "open claim." Fast forward about a month of little contact and we were then told our initial service person that had communicated all things would be covered apparently no longer works for *** *********** They then passed us off to another service person who said that Endurance denied our claim due to lack of maintenance records(which they have all of). Now they claim Endurance won't send a person out to determine the cause of engine issues. We purchased this warranty at the time we purchased the vehicle and expect *** to back what they sell. We expect ***/Endurance to make this right!Review from Christian M

******* purchase experience of my life. I work in the car business and I understand how things work. This dealership still attempted to take advantage of me and my situation and did not treat me with respect. I asked for the car to be cleaned up and ready to go when arrived there since it was an hour and a half travel time to get to the dealership. When I arrived the car was dirty and had stickers. The vehicle also had some very nasty curb rash on the right side and the vehicle was positioned in order to try and conceal that. The final nail in the coffin was the tires themselves on the car were well below safety standards measuring at 2/32nds in the front and 3/32nds in the rear. Which I did not discover until I got the car back to my dealership and put it on a lift. This endangered the life of myself and my daughter. They refused to pay to have the tires replaced at my dealership of choice because at this point all trust in them performing the work with integrity was lost. After haggling for quite some time to rectify the issue they tried me make me do the 1.5 hr (40 mile) trip to their dealership so they could save a couple hundred bucks on their mistake. I would never advise anyone to purchase ANYTHING from this dealership.Review from Patrick H

The mechanics at this location are, at worst, incompetent and, at worst, complete scammers.Timeline of events:-- Scheduled a safety recall repair for the tow harness due to potential fire risk. The appointment could only be scheduled by two months out. -- When we dropped off the car, I explained we had an issue with the shifter not allowing us to shift out of park without using the emergency shift release. This required a $1500 repair to replace the body control module. This repair was supposed to fix the shifting issue and an issue with our rear brake lights not working. -- We picked up the car after completing both repairs and assumed everything was working correctly.-- My wife got pulled over for her brake lights being out. She let the office know we just had work done by Kia Mall of Georgia, and she should go there immediately to resolve the issue. -- ***** mechanics did a "multi-point" inspection and declared the issue had nothing to do with the work they recently did and we would need to pay $500 to replace a faulty brake light wiring harness. This made no sense to me as that would mean we had two wiring harnesses (right & left) go out coincidentally simultaneously AND be unrelated to their work. -- Today, I did the first thing any half-decent mechanic would do and checked the brake light bulbs. Both bulbs were blown, and the brake lights were fixed in 10 minutes. *** was about to charge us $500 more for a $10 fix. I will never use another *********** center for anything, and there's a 1% chance I'll ever buy another Kia ********Review from Dora Q

My star rating is really an 0, but that isnt an option. And now theres another safety recall - just interim though until they can get a remedy. *** is a joke. Itll be a FREEZING day in H*** before I take my car back to #KiaMallofGeorgia where I bought it brand new or yet buy another *** at that. About a month after them having my car, I got it back covered in tree sap and mold, shaking so badly I felt like I had to literally hold it on the road when driving, a bag of nuts/bolts/brackets in the driver seat still not sure what they went to because ***************************, their service manager, had the nerve to yell at me accusing me of someone else working on my car, denying that the bag was in my car when I picked it up a few hours earlier, and told me to take it somewhere elseoh and just in a week of having it back the tire finally blew; it had something metal in it. Um, my car was there because of a lawsuit due to the engine blowing up, but ok Im supposed to be happy and respectful that I feel completely UNSAFE in my vehicle anymore. Now another recall, and this time it can catch on fire while driving it or even if Its just parked. This complaint goes against Mall of Georgia ********* of Georgia *********** a well as ***********Review from Violette G

If I could leave a worst review at the moment I would. I was told it was okay to make an appointment on Saturday for an engine recall. I was then told at the appointment that this would take til Monday to complete but may happen same day but the service manager. I called back later to be told that this is not a service done on the weekend by *****. I would receive a call on Monday with the results. That is the only car my parents have available. They use it to take my father to his Dialysis appointments. I told *** ********** this. What money does a dying man and his family have to spend on ubers and rental cars? It is now Tuesday. My mother called to get an update and was dismissed by the man on the phone who stated they just got to look at the car today. *** seems to have endless recalls and makes their customers burden their faults. This has been an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional situation. I'll update this when they can manage to finally call us back.Review from Terry K

Kia Mall of Georgia Oct 26, 2022 tomdenmark56 I bought a KIa *** from *********************. Unfortunately that dealership is 50 miles from my home so when I had some issues with the battery charging only to 60-70% I took it to Kia Mall of Georgia as they are only 10 miles from home. I have taken to them 3 times on the same issue, with 0 results. Every time they tell me that they have turned in a ticket to **** The last time I left it with them for 12 days and the 11th day I had to call them. They stated no response from *** but they would contact *** and be in touch. So out of 3 times in service I have never received a call back from this service department and I had to make the first call. The 2nd time it happened I followed up with the ** and he promised me this poor communication would never happen again. Well they had the car for 12 days and no call back. So this morning (3 weeks after picking it up) I contacted the ** and his response was *** has not provided them a solution therefore I should contact Consumer Affairs! Really? What about the warranty since the car is 7 months old? He said there was nothing he could do. When I asked him about the poor follow up and communication he had no responsenot even an apology! I then called ********************* and they have already called me back twice with schedules and their plan to deal with this problem including a loaner car, which was never offered at Kia Mall of Georgia. Its one thing for a service technician not to communicate but when the Service Manager and General Manager offer this type of service it is totally unacceptable. I would never buy a car from these folks or allow them to provide service on a car, especially with leadership like this. *** (Extremely disappointed)Review from Ashlee G

I am not pleased with this dealership what so ever. I bought a used car over 2 years ago (bought an extended warranty as well) to find out a week after purchasing it that my AC lines were clogged and water was flooding my floor board, I took my car in and was told service was too busy that day and to put a towel down in my floor board until they could get me in to fix the problem. A couple months ago, I took my car in about it burning oil and was then told my car has to blow up before they can do anything about. I am now broke down on the side of the road (was on my way to the dealership to have it looked at again) because they couldnt fix the issue at hand the first time) am gonna have to pay for a tow truck out of MY pocket because this dealership is too sorry to fix the problem before its a bigger problem. If I could put zero stars I would, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.Review from Jeff H

So calling to get the status of the vehicle, the had to get a APPROVAL from the Manufacturer which was APPROVED.
