I bought a car in 2017. I was sold the car under a 7 year warranty (No, I did not read the contract. Shame on me.) Two weeks after buying the car, I returned because my tires were bad. The parts manager told me I had a damaged control arm and I also needed an alignment. I am not a mechanic and believed him when he said the control arm would be ok. They told me I had one tire going to LA and the other going to NY. Since 2017 I have gone through five sets of tires (I am now needing a sixth set). I have been constantly told that my alignment is out and I need to get an alignment more often. It got to the point I had to get alignments every **** miles (regular service visits, i.e. oil changes). I have been through 5 different managers with the same result. The last time I went back I was accused of being a bad driver and told that they cannot afford to keep giving me tires ( I paid for the last set even though they said they would be free). Not once did anybody offer to check my car to find out why it does not hold an alignment. Now I have ****** miles on a set of ****** mile rated tires, with steel threads popping out of the front 2, while the back 2 are still nice tires. I was told once again that I must be a bad driver and that they cannot afford to give me tires while once again failing to offer to check my car for any faults. They denied the problem until my warranty ran out. I am not able to get full records as I was told repeatedly how some things are done off the books.
