I bought a RAV4 on 4/16/2024. The saleman was good, did his best to help me to find the car I want, but the finance man, ***********************, is my nightmare. He always said hes honest and help me to purchase the car. Im the first buyer and so stupid when I believe him. He added a lot of additional items to me (total is over $10,000) and didnt notice me its extra money. He only pointed he helped me a good interest rate and didnt say anything about other cost. Hes such a liar. If you dont know, this dealer use the electronic sign, not hard paper anymore. The finance man tried to skip the price details really quick, and pushed me to sign the paper. Swear to God, I didnt see the additional items he added to me. I didnt even know what the Flexprotect is or the extended warranty. He avoided to tell me its not include in the *** price and didnt ask if I want to add. I come back the next day when I found out and requested to cancel all of them. He said he would cancel all for me but need to wait until I received the billing mail. He said my interest rate would be higher, as 11%, if I canceled all of that. I agreed with that. I accept the higher rate to save my hard-working $10,000. Then, today (4/24/2024) I come back with the mail, he said I couldnt cancel all because theyre installed in my car. Its ridiculous. What does it mean that the warranty for ************* keys, etc,.. is installed in the car and cant take off. I only cancel half of the additional items. I signed cancellation form the *** insurance and platinum coverage, but have to wait for 6-8 weeks to money back. Ill update if anything happens more. Please choose other dealer or other people to deal with. Here, they only try to take your money. Dont believe them when they said help you or whatever. Please please please check the price details before you sign the paper.Atlanta Toyota Response

We have met with *****************, and her attendant, that was with her during the purchase. We have listened to all her concerns; feel we have addressed them and have done all we can for her. We appreciate her business and appreciate her taking the time to come in and discuss her concernments. Atlanta Toyota has used electronic filing exclusively since 2017, going on 8 years now. This electronic process is common for most businesses, especially financial institutions. It is not a diversion tactic, it is a way to store, process and record transactions; plus save mounds of paper. It shows all products, all pricing and all signatures. We also give every customer a flash drive, with all the same stored accurate information and signatures on it, before they leave. If a person requests paper, which is rare, we will also print that out for them. While ********************* agreements were signed and recorded, we went over each individual product, explained everything and did all we could for her when she recently came in.Atlanta Toyota is the largest dealership by volume, regardless of brand, in the state of *******. We have held this distinction for 10 years in a row. We also have the highest **************** Score: Again, we appreciate ***************** and the opportunity to assist her.Review from Ngoc T

Oil change The staff '*************************' exhibited dishonest and unethical bad behavior.I received a Toyota oil change coupon and the initial agreement was for $64.99. However, after the work was completed, the price changed to $91. ******* said that the increase was due to taxes and miscellaneous fees, which were supposedly 50% higher than initial price. When I complained to the manager in the office, he appeared speechless, incapable, and unresponsive.Atlanta Toyota Response

We appreciate all our customers and always attempt to give them a truly exceptional experience. In this case the customer came with 2 different coupons: One for a regular oil change and one for synthetic. We clearly explained that in his case he needed the higher priced synthetic because that is what the vehicle has been using since the beginning of purchase. You cannot go from synthetic to regular oil. We told him at that time, that the price would be in the $90.00 range, with the coupon plus shop supplies etc.. He signed up for the service, which is normally $130.00 for oil change, tire rotation and multi-point inspection. When completed he went into a rage, grabbed the paper, and started causing a scene, not good behavior in today's world. He asked for the manager, who was with another customer, and just busted into the manager's office yelling and screaming. The Manager did not know what he was even talking about. Ends up he wanted us to give him the synthetic oil change at the regular oil change price, a difference of approximately $30.00, when shop supplies are included. We probably would have done that, but his actions, threats and loud yelling, making everyone, employees and our valued customers very nervous, didn't allow for conversation, so we asked him to leave. We are a professional dealership; we strive for a safe environment for our employees and customers. We treat our customers fairly/professionally and expect the same. In this case, the customer would not calm down, making everyone in his vicinity feel threatened. You just can't do that here or anywhere right now. Again, we appreciate his business, but his handling of the situation left a lot to be desired. With a different approach, we would have had a different outcome. Our workforce and our customers allow for the most diverse environment of any dealership in the Atlanta area. We treat everyone with consideration and high regard and expect the same in return.Review from Dai T

Beware! Don't bring your car here. I was told on the phone the diagnostic cost was $160. When I got my car towed there they charge me $320 said my car couldn't turn on. After showing them the car could turn on, they still charge me $240. The quote for replacing transmission was $9,700 way beyond the fair price. I decided to get my car back and they charge me another $40. I asked why? They said they just charge everyone that amount.Atlanta Toyota Response

Really kind of an unfair complaint: He did his own transmission flush and did not put the right amount of transmission fluid in: Thus he ruined his transmission and became upset with us in attempting to diagnose the issue. We always attempt to work with the customer on high priced maintenance needs. In this case we quoted him a diagnostic price based on his phone conversation. When we received the vehicle and looked everything over, we realized we needed more time to find the exact cause of the problem, hence the uptick in diagnostic fee from 160.00-320.00. We dropped that to ******. The $40.00 was for shop supplies, not just a random charge. He does need a new transmission, plus other parts that burned up, and yes, you can probably get them cheaper somewhere else, from some 3rd party, but we are limited in what/where we can purchase the transmission and the burned-up parts. We don't use after- market equipment or supplies. We could have worked with him on those prices too, but he decided to go elsewhere. We appreciate all of our customers and always attempt to do the best for them. If the customer would like to come back in to discuss, we would be glad to do so. They have not returned any of our phone calls.Review from Tony V

I took my 4Runner in on 7/19 for my 20k service. I had recently went on a light off road trail so my advisor recommended that I could use an alignment since my suspension shows to be slightly off when driving through the service lane to which I agreed to get it done. After I received my vehicle back, my tires are rubbing against my wheel well. It did not rub before I had my alignment done with Atlanta Toyota. I brought my vehicle back next day and they stated they have adjusted it the best they could and everything looks normal but its too muddy underneath to inspect anything and said it would need to be cleaned before they could inspect. I was given the option that I could either clean it and bring it back or they could do it for a charge. I dont understand how I can bring the vehicle in with the vehicle driving perfectly and leave like thisI brought my vehicle to another shop to find that my alignment was still off. I voiced my displeasure with my advisor and have not heard back. I tried to call and would get forwarded straight to voicemail. I ended up paying the other shop to fix my alignment. I have lost my time and money. If they could mess up my alignment on a 2022 4Runner, I wonder what other damage they could do to another vehicle? I am highly displeased and will never come back here. At this point, I just want my money back which is highly unlikely. Please beware.
