In September of 2019, I hired an attorney for a personal injury case involving a 18wheeler, and I was a passenger in the car that was hit by the truck. I spoke with **************** over the phone, and he accepted the case. He then emailed me the contract to sign via Docu-Sign. Several days later I was sent to the chiropractors office for three days a week. By November I was sent to see an orthopedic as well as cat scan and MRI doctors. After 5 months of therapy (February of 2020) I was told by whom I thought was my attorney (************************), after months of going back and forth with the insurance company he had spoken with a new insurance agent and the insurance company decided to settle the case for $1,000,000. I was automatically paid $25,000 from *************** from the vehicle I was in. After 6 rounds of injections to my neck and lower back the doctor stated I needed surgery to correct the problem and elevate the pain. However, due to Covid they would perform the surgery at a later date. Since April of 2020, I get pain management every month. In August 2020, Geico released the $25,000 check to the law firm. Upon speaking with **************** in August of 2020, he says to me that there was not a $1,000,000 settlement and the trucking insurance company denied the claim and the $25,000 after medical and attorney fees that I had no money left. Well, I received an email from orthopedics stating they were putting a lien on me because they had not been paid. I am contacted the Attorneys *************** and has filed a complaint. I have documents, emails, recorded phone calls of me telling him to file *** against the insurance company, and DO NOT discus my case with Mr. ************************ Amongst other fraudulent documents sent to me on made up letter heads. I never spoke with or dealt with an actual attorney. This law firm has changed names ************ Group to Saxton Firm and has 2 offices in *******/Buckhead on ********. Very egregious, unethically, fraudulent and shameful.
