The Better Business Bureau® (BBB) advises consumers to be aware of complaints and reviews about OnePlus USA Corp, an online cell phone retailer claiming an Irving, TX address. Consumer complaints about the company increased in 2024, surpassing the total received over the last three years combined.
OnePlus USA Corp currently holds an "F" rating with the BBB, for failing to address 56 out of 175 complaints and for not resolving recurring customer issues. BBB received complaints from 39 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces, which led to BBB's investigation.
“Our hope is that this warning will help consumers avoid the negative experiences so many others have shared,” said Monica Horton, BBB of North Central Texas Spokesperson. “Before making any purchase online take the time to research a company’s reputation on BBB.org. It could save you time, money, and stress.”
What are consumers reporting?
A clear pattern of complaints has emerged about OnePlus USA Corp, including:
- Refund and exchange issues: Consumers describe long delays in processing refunds, misleading policies, or outright refusals to issue refunds for returned products.

- Delivery problems: Lost or misdelivered packages, inadequate delivery protections (like missing signatures), and incorrect shipping details have been common complaints.
- Customer service breakdowns: Frustration abounds over unresponsive, unhelpful support teams and the inability to escalate issues to management.
- Billing issues: From duplicate charges to incorrect bills, customers are left struggling to resolve disputes through the company’s support system.
BBB investigation and warning
BBB attempted contact with OnePlus USA Corp in October 2024 after noting discrepancies in its listed U.S. addresses. While the company claims operations in Irving, TX, its headquarters are based in China. The BBB requested clarification on its business structure and operational details, but so far, no response has been received and no action has been taken to resolve the underlying cause of complaints or verify its local presence.
