      Do not trust this mortgage company to help you with recovery post covid. Like many folks I had to defer my mortgage payments after being laid off from both of my jobs during covid. Even once I was hired back (at a lower salary) covid as well as economic changes affected my ability to make my payments causing more months to be deferred. While the company says they want to help customers keep their homes, after numerous attempts to get a modified loan I keep getting told conflicting information from employees (you can never speak to the same person twice and they rely on notes in the computer to understand the situation, which have not been helpful) they have also said they have tried to contact me multiple times to speak to me when I have had no calls from them. I have resorted to emailing them. They did not respond to my email regarding a payment that needs to be made on January 1 until 5:42 PM on the Friday before New Year’s weekend. They will be closed Monday for the holiday and the loss. Mitigation department is not open on weekends, so therefore it is impossible for me to get ahold of anyone to speak about this payment due.

      2 months in a row they haven't received my bill pay. I call to resolve the issue and they blame my bank or the post office and try to give me late fees. Then after I make a payment (and cancel the bill pay check) they try to cash the check from my bill pay and send me a threatening letter. I have my bank send my payments several weeks before they are due. I didn't choose Arvest they bought my loan right after I bought the house. Plus they have raised the payment amount every year.

      Horrible, Rude !! I sold my property bought a new and left Arvest. 30 days tomorrow since paying Arvest off and account closed still have not received my escrow refund from this bank despite law states within 20 days . I have a credit line 14%interest locked in although my balance is paid down my payments keep getting higher they don't know what their doing. These people yell when you contact wanting YOUR money , they lie as well. 10 months constantly calling for they to fix credit line issue balance goes down monthly my payments shouldn't be going up plus I pay extra every month .It is an interest only credit line well if I'm locked in payments wouldn't be going up each month . Worst bank worst mortgage lender. Find a different bank.

      I have mortgage with Arvest more than ten years. I need to process Loan Assumption to update some of contract. Their reply is unbelievably slow. I know banks are not willing to do Loan Assumptions in general, so I think they are intentionally delaying the process. Also, they require me to send very sensitive information (tax return, ssn, pay stub, etc) through emails, which is very insecure. I don't think they are educated to handle such information properly.

      My mortgage was purchased soon after closing and "somehow" my monthly went up $300! These people are horrible. I'm selling and NEVER dealing with this clown show again!!!

      My loan transfered to Arvest about a month and half ago for more than what the balance should have been. They were also missing last months payment. I sent over all of the statements from the previous servicer and they still couldn't figure it out. I just made the current months payment, and now they have reversed all the payment information(including the extra principal payments) and claim I haven't made last month payment and am currently 40 days late. Dealing with this company has been a nightmare. I have probably called them a dozen times and they can't seem to make it right.

      My original mortgage was sold to Arvest and its been a struggle from the get go. I’ve yet to receive a mortgage statement, the transition between the internal companies was a nightmare, customer service is awful, and I’m currently going through a claim on my roof that is not going well. Getting through an insurance claim itself is difficult and Arvest add 3 added steps that delays the process even further. I didn’t choose to bank with Arvest and I never will in the future.

      They are slow-walking my escrow balance refund. Three months since my original request in December have passed as the request progresses at a glacial pace. They have proven unable to pay property taxes in the month that they promise. People seem nice when you finally reach someone on the phone. But they seem unable to follow through on promises. Arvest purchased my mortgage from Pulte Mortgage. I would never do business with them again.

      Now they are taking the money that was sent and directed to be applied to "additional principle" and just tucking it into "suspense" which is just money they hold. This has been going on for 2 months now. IF you can reach a human being on the phone they say things like, "oh the computer did it, I will get that fixed". Which was the BS I got 2 weeks ago after being on hold for over 30 minutes. That was January's payment. Got the statement today and the "additional principle" I sent last month was simply added to their "suspense account". After 25 minutes on the phone today I was told it would be taken care of. Are there not laws to protect consumers against this obvious theft?

      My mortgage was sold to Arvest pretty quickly after I bought my home. My experience with Arvest hasn't been positive. Their reps don't seem to have a good understanding with anything. I've been very frustrated with the long hold times and unknowledgeable employees. If I could switch to another mortgage company I would.
