      My wife was so sick she couldn't move for a couple of weeks. Once shes able to get up we get her to the doctors and get a letter. We file for the insurance company which then takes 4 months to get a reponse (I was told people are on vacation, people are sick, etc.) They then deny and say that she has to have a note from when she stopped working when I explain to them that she couldn't move to get to a doctor they said they don't care. DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS

      Terrible staff with bad attitudes. Company profits from delaying and denying claims. Ask yourself why an insurance would outsource a task that it could do much faster by itself? Why make a straight line crooked? This is an organized scheme of profiteering between USAble and Regence.

      Horrible customer service! Had a heart attack over a month ago, still waiting on a check. No way to check online. Must call. First time I called was told it would take 3-5 business days from processing date. Week and a half went by, now saying they need payroll information from my employer. When you renew every year, they go over your pay and the amount you will receive if needed, now they need more information? Your policy is based on your pay and that’s what you pay for that coverage. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Shop around if you can! Look at the other reviews, All one star!

      Very nervous. Online access to an account is NOT POSSIBLE! We'll have to wait until someone invents the Web? I requested they send me a billing statement confirming a zero balance, along with my policy's effective-thru date. IT'S NOT POSSIBLE! We'll have to wait until the 80s. The only effort they seem to make is to mail policies and generate bills. What about claim results? What about Approved claim results? Will wait nervously.

      Horrible service. I have been waiting for approval of a claim for 6 weeks. Every time I call to check the status they come up with a different form that needs to be filled out. I get the impression that they are doing what ever possible to deny my claim. Get your own coverage if this is offered through work. Don’t waste your time or money.

      I opted in to pay for short term disability insurance with this company just in case I ever needed it. In August I had an extremely bad accident that caused me to miss over 3 months of work. USAble Life went out of their way to get my forms corrected when my physician filled them out improperly, back payed for all the time it had taken to get my claim approved and even covered my copay for said insurance during the time I was out of work. This company was a lifesaver for me and one of the best investments I've made. Cannot recommend more highly.

      Do not use this company if you have another option. I have called at least 5 times to discuss my short term disability issues and each time I received a different explanation of benefits, instructions on my next step to extend benefits and documents needed. I even had someone call me to handle my issues only for them to not know policies. I feel they purposely do this to confuse or frustrate customers so they will not go after their benefits. I have given them so much money for them to only tell me there is nothing they can do to help me. Sketchy company with customer service reps who dont know about benefits or policies

      Run! dont walk away from this company. I paid into them for years and never made a claim. Then I hurt my hand and when I tried to collect a small claim amount they covered me up with paper so bad It was not worth the trouble. So save your money put it in a little account for a rainy day, you will be far better off.

      HORRIBLE company and event worse customer service. I felt very discriminated against as a person of color. No interaction that I have had with any employee there has been a good one. None of my claims have ever been approved and they take their time just to tell you no. I would not recommend to anyone especially anyone of color. They are SCAMMERS and they need to be investigated.

      Don't bother with this company. My dad passed 4 months ago, and still have heard nothing. If you want your love ones to have less stress, do not pick this company.
