Very very bad experience, Carlos man you are on drugs or you need to go back to mechanical School.. Because you are not very nologable on the basic of a ac compress on a 09 387 pete... you did an Evac and recharge and said that you recovered 1.4 well my AC takes 4.6 but you told me the machine said that there was no leak well obviously there has to be a leak somewhere I just put two cans of freon in 2 days ago and you eat that 1.4 obviously there's a link somewhere. I I'm presuming the gentleman that came and assisted you was the owner and he let you know that their compressor was leaking you wanted to replace the O-ring I said no if the compressor is leaking just replaced the compression.. and the process of removing the compressor two bolts on the bracket broke and man that's like you were all the way and left field first you put some heat on it for an hour then you said you was going to have to drill them out and you don't know how long it's going to take so I went with spoke to the owner scratch that the manager in charge and he said that he has the welder coming in in a few minutes and he will assist he did that and then it worked out... all the other mechanics there seems very knowledgeable... so Baldwin if I ever do decide to Grace you with my presence Carlos you are not be working on my truckdawg.

I'm sorry you felt you had a bad experience. You came in for an air conditioning problem. Carlos hooked up the AC machine and pulled out what freon was in the system and then pulled a vacuum which is normal to check for leaks. I stopped by to talk with Carlos and showed him where to look for pressure leaks on an AC system. It was decided to replace the compressor and dryer. In the process, yes two bolts broke off in the aluminum housing. We had to get the pieces out, rethread the bolt holes and get new bolts. After putting the new compressor on, we were informed you had direct power ran to the compressor and to keep it hooked up that way. You were informed that cancels any warranty on the compressor. We charged the system and verified it was cooling. Carlos didn't charge you for the extra time involved with the broken bolts which was not his fault. Steel bolts in an aluminum housing just naturally tend to seize up. Carlos fixed your headlights and tail lights with out charging you. And now you give us and him a bad review? Shame on you!!

Bad communication, gave a a $600 quote, ended up costing my $1800 with an extra $100 credit card fee.

His driver came to our business on Saturday about noon with a wheel bearing out and hub broken. They asked for an estimate and I explained all my suppliers for parts were closed until Monday. On Saturday all I could give them is a labor quote and parts would be extra. I gave them a print labor quote of $600 which is what the labor was. Monday we obtained the parts and completed the job. We worked hard to save the axle on their trailer by cleaning up the spindle so the bearings and seal would fit again. The fee he complains about is 3.5% which is what the credit card processors charge us. We have it posted on the front door and several places in the office. In this case it was $62. I believe we did all we could to help this customer save money and get back on the road.
