This complaint against Abbeville Dentistry at 1915 S Washington St, Amarillo TX, ph. ************. This was at 2 pm for a cleaning of teeth on 1-11-2024. This is about the 5th time I had my teeth cleaned at Abbeville. Previously, the dental cleaning consisted of only a portion of my teeth. The specialist cleaning my teeth stated “all” of my teeth could be cleaned. She started her usual cleaning procedure, until she encountered a bridge on the upper right side of my mouth. When I started complaining about it hurting so much, she quit. On January 31, 2024, I went to Abbeville Dentistry and registered that I wanted to file a complaint about the lack of service they performed at 2:00 pm on 1-11-2024. I told them that the specialist said she was cleaning all my teeth. They verified that the dentist wasn’t on hand during the process that occurred after I removed a bridge that fell out of my mouth, leaving me with a bridge fully rolling around in my mouth and leaving me in severe pain. That is why I was in Abbeville Dentistry on 1-31-2024. The date in which I filed a complaint, 1-31-2024, they referred me to a dentist that was on hand. He did an examination of my teeth. He had his assistant do quite a few X-rays and scheduled me for an appointment at 2:30 on 2-06-24. I am supplying a two-page attachment Abbeville Dentistry furnished me. I told them that I was complaining that the specialist had removed my bridge in the first place, and I wanted to be furnished with a new bridge at no cost and they refused. I got on the phone with a human today and found out that I had an annual maximum of $1,500. They used $207.00 for the so-called cleaning on 1-11-24, so it makes no difference of what the attachments say on the forms. I paid for the sloppy job of the cleaning the specialist did, whether or not a new bridge was put in. They refused to take care of me and I need my bridge replaced that the specialist damaged.
