Aspen Dental Corp will charge you for services not rendered…..that’s FRAUD. Chicago Roscoe Village office. Sept 2023, I had some issues with my teeth that required some urgent care. So I went to the local Aspen dental clinic nearby. Now when a person is in pain all you do is want to eliminate the pain. The dentist and the staff were pleasant and professional. My prognosis was three cavities, required cleaning and recommended that my wisdom teeth be removed. So the office comes to me with a contract to sign for these services. I did give the office my dental insurance information for my dental coverage.Remember that point …it’s important. So the cleaning ,examination,and cavities were taken care of during this visit. They scheduled the wisdom teeth extraction for a few days later. Here’s the kicker of this corporate franchise dental system. They want their money up front for a written contract so they use a second party. credit card company Carecredit to carry the entire debt of the dental service.The following day I called Aspen dental and informed them that I was getting the wisdom teeth extraction done elsewhere. Well my first bill arrived in October 2023. The amount was over $9800 . Thats a real big WTF. I called the Aspen dental office an inquired about this crazy amount and asked for a full print out of the service charges. These offices basically submits their paperwork to the corporate office with a contracted amount. I was being charged for my wisdom teeth extraction which were done by a different dental facility not associated with Aspen Dental. Being charge for services not rendered is FRAUD. Remember Aspen Corp. got their money up front so they really don’t care if they are right or wrong. So my first call with the Aspen office was in regards to the services not rendered, the billed amount and if they submitted a claim with my insurance. They said they submitted the claim to the dental insurance. I called the dental insurance ,no claim submitted

They have yet to Bill my insurance correctly and I can't get anybody in Billings to even call me

SCAM!!! Paid over $300 for a cleaning. Never even had a cavity in my life! Visit was in 2022. Paid it off with monthly payments in 7 months. Just sent me another bill in 2024!! Stating I owe more!!! They said they had a software outage and people are only getting their remaining bills now! I said, why did I sign papers and documents saying I only owe $300 in your office then If you were going to send me a bill a year and a half later!? Insane!!! I said, how do I know this is my final payment?! How do I know you’re not gonna keep asking me for money for the rest of my life!?

Signed and requested full medical records from Bensalem Pa office in SEPTEMBER!! The office manager completely stopped responding to my emails and calls when I questioned THREE forged signatures and a visa payment for $495 I never made. This all stems from a botched bridge temp job they did in 2021 that I’m still wearing!!

I originally gave Aspen Dental on Mechanicsville a five star review, because I had a great experiences on my first visit. On Saturday, my number twelve (12) tooth broke in half. I called them on Monday morning February 19, and told them I was coming in so they could take care of my broken tooth. (They advertise that they handles emergency walk ins) The woman that answered the phone told me they couldn't see me today. She said you have an appointment on February 27, we will see you then. I explained that I can't go that long, because the pain has already started. She said you can try to go to another location. I called the other locations and I couldn't get in to see them either. Clearly they was not interested in my emergency. Stay away from Aspen Dental. I wish I could have given a zero star. 

Aspen Dental is absolutely the worst place to go. Told me I needed my teeth pulled and dentures. I let them do it and got dentures. They could never make them right and dealt with them for months.Would not refund any money. Always came up with an excuse. My advise is to never go there, you will regret it. Cost me 10,000 dollars out of pocket. Had to see another dental office to get new ones. I finally have dentures I can wear

I have used Aspen Dental on three occasions. The first in 2011 for dentures. All went well overall. Quality, cost and patient care. The second time was in 2006 when I broke the lower denture. Again, all went well overall. The third time was December 23 and January 24. My first appointment went well up to a point. I was asked to leave my old dentures as a part of their process. When I returned, instead of being called back to the exam area to be given the old dentures, a technician or hygienist brought them to me in the lobby in a plastic sandwich bag! Normally one would be directed to the exam area, once finished then would be escorted to the appointment desk to schedule the next appointment. This did not happen. I had to ask about upcoming appointment. After the second appointment I received calls to reschedule the third appointment 3 times in one week! Dentist calling off work, technician who makes dentures is new and kept needing more time the only reason I did not cancel was due to one hygienist, ********* She was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Because of her I stuck it out. The finished product was very good, however until they take care of their employee retention issue and are able to hire other hygienists who possess the same skills and professionalism as ****, they will continue to have problems. I became caught up in the process and even though there were the issues as described, I found myself at a point where I couldnt just walk away and start the process with a new dentist. However, if I had to do it over again, I would not use Aspen Dental!

They makenyou pay up front for everything and have lack of staff and make appointments they can't keep .... very unprofessional in this regard.

Horrible dentist. Staff is rude. I called 5 aspen’s in 40 mile radius with an emergency and every single one refused me!! Even when I explained the pain!! Mayfield Ohio mean girl said sorry nothing I can do….CLICK!! Yes hung up on me!!! Nasty unsympathetic chain dentists!!! For the record!! The infected tooth I got pulled was a root canal done by aspen in mentor Ohio 1 yr ago!!! When I went back to him 10 after and explained it didn’t feel right he said it’s normal. It did settle after taking antibiotics and ultram but I’ve had root canal before and NEVER that much pain after!!! STAY AWAY FROM ASPEN!!!

Horrible prepaid for tooth filling and when arrived. I was told I owe 200 more. I did not have work done and will be sending a demand letter for refund. Also will file a complaint with small claims court. Out of ethical thoughts. It doesn't matter the money at this point it's the fact that they think they can do this legally and it's not ethical .
