As a consumer who is protected under the consumer protection laws, I feel that my rights under the Truth in Lending Act have not been respected. Furthermore, I was not provided with a full disclosure of the entire credit amount on my account 4519749701. I applied for personal/ family open end of credit on 15th November 2023. My account was created a with positive status of credit. The attached remittance coupon and the bond are located at the top of my statements. Despite my attempts to resolve the matter amicably, both Slemco and its representative have repeatedly refused to accept my lawful form of satisfying the account. Instead, they insist that I overpay on the account or face the addition of late fees or junk fee penalties, both of which are prohibited by law. Given these circumstances, I request a FULL AUDIT of the entire financial account balance to determine the accuracy of the charges and a reinvestigation of all prepaid/extension of credit (incoming credit transactions). Additionally, I seek all refunds of the entire account balance owed to me as the consumer and invoke my rights under 12 CFR § 1026.13 - Billing error resolution, 15 U.S. Code § 1666b - Timing of payments & 15 U.S. Code § 1666d Treatment of credit balance.
