Purchased a new Kia Carnival from the Kia of Abilene Dealership in August 2023. While taking with the sales person, who isn't there anymore, we mentioned that we would like the side windows tinted and a trailer hitch put on for our bicycle rack. The Sales Manager was contacted and said that they could not put the hitch on due to warranty issues but that he could have the windows tinted. I have all the names but as a courtesy I will not post them here. The Sales Manager later asked me who I would like to use and I gave him the name of the company and he set up the appointment to have the windows tinted. This was after the purchase. He told me that I would have to pay for this and to get a receipt and they would cut me a check. It was $250 and I paid and have been trying to get a check out of them for over a month since then and still haven't been paid. Basically I love the car but so far not the customer care.Review from Doris M

I bought a 2027 jeep from kia of Abilene, TX in February 2023. I drove it home and there was a noise by the passager front tire. I had to come back the next day to take some paper work and put it in service to see what the noise was. They told me that it was a strut with a something missing. They told me I had to wait until the warranty took affect before they could fix it. I came back the following day and it was the same thing again. When I finally got to take it back (live 56 miles from the dealership) they said the warranty would not pay for it. They did not do a 100 point check before they sold me the vehicle and did not tell me anything was wrong with it. Also they sold me a warranty for 3000.00 and marked the spot where it is a standard warranty. If they had marked premium warranty it would have been paid. It also had the check engine light on which means they did not do inspection or lied about it. Now I have 2000.00 bill to get it fixed. The check engine light will be paid by the warranty which was a 1000.00.Review from Brad A

I purchased my wife a new Kia Stinger while I was out TDY and they delivered it to the DFW area. I was told the Maintenance plan was good at any Kia dealership. Once we found out that was the case I have spent the last year trying to cancel it I have called and left messages for the finance manger and Rob Nelson to call me back. Not once has anyone called and funny how they are always in a meeting. I had FT Worth Kia try to assist but they said it has to be us they speak to. This is Piss Poor customer service. I have bought 3 Kia vehicles in past 18 months I recommend Kia of Ft Worth they will not scam you like Kia of Abilene.Review from Jonee M

I bought a 2018 Chevy Equinox and paid 24K plus 7K in charges. Come to find out, the car's value was 14K. I was told by Kia that it was too bad because I signed a contract.

The used car market has changed substantially in the last year since you bought your car, that combined with the interest rate paid to your lender would make it difficult to trade in less than a year.
