While on vacation in Steamboat Springs, ******** my Dodge truck broke done. I had it towed to the local Dodge dealership, Steamboat Motors. ***, the service manager, and I agreed that they would only use Dodge Chrysler parts and certified mechanics. The truck was towed in 12/27/2023. I told ******** needed to have the truck done sixteen days later on 1/11/2024 whereas I had a three day weekend off from work to make the ***** mile round trip to pick up the truck. Italian was agreed. I called on 1/11/2024 and they said they were hoping to get the truck in that day. I knew the truck would not be done on time so I had to wait until 1/22/2024. I came back up to get the truck and immediately noticed the truck was running poorly. I called the dealership and we agreed I would bring it back the next day. I got a motel room. It ran poorly the next day and as soon as I got to the dealership it died. We pushed it inside to see why the $1,931.56 money paid failed to fix the truck. It was discovered the incorrect fuel relay was installed. They also installed a battery which was not authorized and installed the incorrect battery for that diesel engine. I asked for any kind of compensation for the tow truck, motel, food etc and the service manager **** response was in *** of? I guess he felt this was normal business for this dealership. They did come thirty minutes away to pick me up when I returned to get the truck. Please dont go to this dealership. Run poorly.
