      This company is Horrible! 0 stars! After years of being a customer, they sent someone to look at our property and they had no idea what they were looking at. We have multiple dwellings on our property, including a commercial business, and the guy was looking at the wrong one to start with. Then he sent a letter stating that we needed fire extinguishers in the commercial business, but he wasn't even in that building! We always have up to date extinguishers since we get inspected by fire marshall every 6 months! Then I find out that they charge you a "service fee" no matter how you pay your bill. I had to pay a big chunk down and they charged me a $7 service fee. I set up auto pay, and they charge a $2 service fee for each aout payment they pull from your bank. If you actually send a paper check payment, they charge you a $5 service fee for that! This is nothing but a legal scam. If I did that in my business, I'd probably be put in jail. No impressed. Look elsewhere for your insurance. I am leaving them ASAP. I already have new stuff in the works! BYE BYE ACUITY!

      They are a scam! Beware small business companies, they hook you and ***** you when you do. I have to leave this review due to I believe in customer service. Hope this helps future business companies go somewhere else for coverages.

      I would give 0 stars if able! They are a terrible, untrustworthy company. They are not upfront with policies and have discriminatory practices that are not disclosed prior to individuals having open policies. Even with proof and documentation from our vet, their underwriter denied our policy based on their assumption of our dogs breed based on a picture even though license and qualified individuals had guaranteed the breed of our dog. When asked what options we had I was told to either get rid of beloved family pet or be terminated from our homeowners policy. Then they denied my claim to reimburse my full payment that was made to their agency after they decided to deny our auto and homeowners policy.

      I would give 0 stars or even negative it it would let me. I do not like thst I am having such a hard time getting my policy canceled. I sold my business and no longer have a need to continue the policy yet getting it canceled is worse then getting teeth pulled.

      I have been plays with Acuity, the breath of their coverage and the affordability, and the service they provided. Ive never had any claims but every other aspect of my relationship has been seamless.

      I would rate zero stars. If you ever have a natural disaster, dont count on these guys to make your life any easier while youre trying to work through all the problems. They made every effort possible to pay me as little as possible. Also when I sold my house recently, you cant even cancel the policy with them. They make you create a memorandum to cancel. They still didnt cancel and never responded to me so I eventually had my local insurance provider get them to cancel. Would never use again. Also every person I dealt with was super rude.

      On to our 2nd year with Acuity. Premium went up slightly and was very competitive over other insurers. I have no claims so I cannot speak on that subject. Hoping that premiums for seniors with no claims start coming down instead of going up. One can hope. Thanks for keeping the cost competitive, keep doing that and we'll stay a loyal customer.Best Regards,*********************

      Switched to Acuity from **** and never looked back. Acuity insures everything I have without referring parts of my coverage to other companies so premium payments become easier. They offer very competitive rates and it is a pleasure to do business with a local agent who is very responsive to questions I had. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Acuity to friends, family, and anyone else when the subject of insurance comes up. We are very happy that we switched!
