Horrible hotel.its just a dump and the hotel staff was completely unprofessional and had horrible customer service!! I would compare this hotel to a dingy truck stop. When we drove up, the parking lot was completely empty so we thought it was closed (that should have been our first indication that something with this place wasnt right), we went in and checked in to our room, we had a 2 room suite with a hot tub. The room itself was disgusting. Dirty, stained carpet, walls are scuffed up and missing paint in several areas, furniture was old, outdated and falling apart, the mini fridge had a bunch of paper towels shoved underneath the mini fridge to make it even or stop it leaking.who knows! The hot tub fixtures were falling off and was super outdated and old as well. And the bed was SUPER HARD! I woke up with a back ache both mornings and I travel a lot so I can usually sleep anywhere! Because my back was so sore I called down to the front desk around 9:00am and requested a late checkout so I could try to soak in the tub to make my back feel better but the front desk person at the time said the latest check out I could get was 11:30. I wasnt happy but I was going to make that work.at 10:50 I had housekeeping knocking on my door. I was changing at this time so I yelled through the door I have a late checkout at 11:30. Ten minutes later I had a woman pounding on my door like they were the police and when I opened the door and told her I had a late check out at 11:30 she said I am the front desk and no you do not! (She was NOT the person I talk to earlier and apparently they dont know how to communicate there between shifts!). She told me if I dont get out right now they are going to call the police! It was only 11:05!!! I was so upset. I have never in my whole life been treated like I was a criminal like that. And can I also point out, not only did the employees act completely unprofessional, They also dressed that way. It looks like the woman that came up to my door just rolled out of bed and was in her comfy lay-around clothes. Not dressed professionally like you would expect from a normal hotel. And the rest of the staff that I seen in the hallways were dressed about the same way except some were dressed in their Goth clothing. (to each their own But not in a professional hotel environment!) I should also mention, that this location of the hotel is basically around a bunch of truck-stops and not in the best area. There were a couple trucks parked in the parking lot with scary looking guys in them and they were just sitting there with their trucks running for hours late into the night like there was some sort of drug-deal going on! I felt really unsafe going in and out of that building with them there.I would suggest to stay clear of this place! Hopefully you all can learn from my bad experience!
