I used to believe HSA Bank was a great company, especially while they were taking my contributions without issue. However, that perception changed when they parted ways with their top-tier investment broker platform. I immediately contacted them via email for more information, but I received no response from their support team.Concerned, I began the process of completing an In-Kind Transfer out of HSA Bank into a competitor's platform, which is far more lively and better designed. I initiated this process in May 2024, but it has yet to be completed due to multiple denials and what seem to be fabricated excuses regarding some unavailable form. The transfer is finally nearing completion, and I am relieved that my account will soon be closed. I will be glad to be done with HSA Bank and their disappointing service. So long, HSA Bank!

I have submitted 3 applications to transfer my money to Fidelity. They either refuse the transaction or say they haven't received the application.

I'm in full agreeance with ***** * below. HSA Banks "new" HSA Invest option is total **** compared to the previous option with ******* ******. It is an entirely archaic system that is not user friendly and not good for anyone. Unfortunately it is the only option they offer for a brokerage option. Hold out to the last minute because once you go to the ****** up system you cant go back. Its entirely a ploy to get your money its not good for the customer.

hsa bank is discontinuing their partnership with ******, and all access to ****** brokerage for investments are ending in September 2024. In its place, they are providing an integrated investment platform and charging users annual fees of 0.10% for Choice, 0.25% for Select and 0.35% for Managed. For the privilege of this new investment platform, which their marketing would lead you to believe, hsa bank will offer an enhanced investment experience than what is provided by ******* ******, for a premium fee. Of course, this is all garbage, and will lead to reduced choices, reduced research capabilities ( loss of access to ****** research tools), and increased fees. A lose-lose for consumers, and a big win for hsa bank owners and the bottom line.

The WORST excuse for a bank ever, a ripoff, huge mistake, Avoid running no look-back !!!!I have an HSA account with these crooks that I thought a wise decision offered by my employer. Conceptually, a tax free savings account for health use. Well, this "savings account has $2.50/mo fees, unheard of for a savings account. I'm healthy so don't use it. These crooks took about half the balance in $2.50 increments per month. The tax would be a fraction of that thereby defeating the reason or basis. Now I can't get the rest of the money out. Their website is dysfunctional and the telephone service agent tried to guide me to dead links etc. and gave up. There is a $25 fee to close the account and a $2.50/mo fee to leave it in there till it's bled out. This bank is a scam predicated on HSA services which is a particularly egregious market for a con. Total delinquency with regards to fiduciary responsibility, basically a RIPOFF !! Another 'healthcare' trap. Poor to worst ratings everywhere reviews are found. Please consider a bank you've heard of.

This has been the worst experience of my life, I have been trying to get reimbursed from 3 different Hra accounts for almost 3 weeks now, I have called numerous times to get them to issue my claim reimbursements only to be told over and over and over the same thing. The claims are In pending and has been in pending for three weeks I don’t know what to do to get this place to do their job and issue my refund already, I was told by Ah on Monday she would email the claims department to get the the claims processed when I called yesterday I was told by Brianna in the client assist department that nothing has been done and she will get right on it and email me to let me know the status, I checked all day yesterday and hasn’t heard anything from her. I don’t know what else to do to get these people to process the claims the only thing they know how to do is send a email saying your claim has been denied but when they owe you money they do absolutely nothing to get the money that’s owed to them customer. Don’t do business with this place this has been the worst experience of my life

I have had the same absolutely worst experience with HSA Bank, as other reviewers. I encountered EVERY issue that others already listed - openly rude and/or clueless service representatives, extra fees - $25 to close the account is a scam, not knowing where you money was, taking forever to transfer out, website not working, etc. Choose any other place for your HSA money - it just can't imagine how it could possibly be any worse.

The worst bank I've ever had. They make is SO difficult to get HSA funds transferred out and different representatives say different things about the process. It is taking many weeks at this point and i STILL haven't received the funds and on top of that, they CHARGE you for everything! they're charging me for keeping the account open even though the only reason it's open is because they won't process the transfer out then they're charging EXTRA $25 to distribute it and close the account. no other bank does this - it's ridiculous. NEVER use this bank for ANYTHING.
