My first appointment was a check up with X Rays, they did not hesitate to tell me i needed 3 teeth pulled and a Root Canal On Thursday May 30th @ 7:00 a.m. failed Root Canal! Glacier lied to me when telling me they couldn’t get deep enough in the canal. They also pushed past the tooth into my gums creating an infection there. No instruction for pain, no prescription. It became infected and swell within 1 hour. taking ASAP. Glacier provided Valley Endodontics. Not in network. After calling several Endodontics in the area it became very apparent that the referral from Glacier was confusing to most offices as to how to proceed. Each office asked the same question, in the condition the tooth is now can a Crown be installed, they could not answer this Glacier should have made this determination. We found Steven * ******** *** who decide to see me asap Friday morning due to the condition of my swelling and circumstance. Dr ******** did a 360 degree 3D scan. After his check up he explained to me that 2nd root was completely missed, tooth was drill to close to the side and created a fracture point. 50/50 chance the tooth would break at some point. They could perform the Root Canal but knowing but they could not Guarantee the tooth would not crack or break at some point. I was left with this decision and the question came back is the condition of the tooth worth putting a Crown on it? At this point I’m very angry with how I was left to deal with this issue, my face as of 6-2-24 was still swollen and like a knot around the tooth area. I decided to have the tooth pulling by another specialist who took me in asap due to my condition, after this procedure the Dr told me that i made a very good decision to have the tooth pulled because the failed Root Canal did damage the tooth, Glacier also damaged to upper part of my gums when they pushed thru root, this area took several to heal and is still sore. To this date 7-18 I have never heard back from Glacier Dental.
