We will never bring our car into Scott's Automotive again. Avoid this crook if you can. Very unprofessional. He screwed us on our repair bill and doubled the labor charge without calling in advance. He did not offer a diagnostic service prior to the repair, which we would have paid. He did not provide an estimate on the first day. He started yelling at me when I calmly asked him about the bill. The guy started making personal attacks when he could not calmly discuss my displeasure. He stormed out of the room and would not listen to my complaint. He's very defensive and childish. Not the brightest guy in the business. Shame. He lost about 10 to 12 local future clients.

On 8/31/21 at 11:04am Jeff called us asking for an estimate for replacing his power steering pump. He received an estimate of $446.79. On 8/31/21 we received a phone all at 7:28am from Jeff requesting we order the power steering pump. Jeff arrive by us at 9:39am and then asked us to install a serpentine belt also. We told him it would be approximately $150 more, which brought the bill to $600.23. After installing the pump and starting the vehicle, fluid was spraying from his high pressure line. We called Jeff and let him know the like was leaking, he immediately started yelling saying we should have found that before starting on it. We informed him we do not perform services unless we are being paid to do the service. Plus it is really hard to confirm a problem with a vehicle when Jeff had parts ordered prior to the vehicle being dropped off at our facility. His new total was $953.35 with adding the high pressure line. After much yelling he told us to replace it on 8/31/21 at 3:08pm. On 9/1/21 Jeff came to pick up his vehicle where his version of calm was demanding we lower his bill. We informed him we we're very sorry that HE MISDIAGNOSED HIS OWN CAR, but our bill was not changing due to it. His language then became vulgar, I told him I was walking away and when I cam back he could either pay for his bill and take his car or we were going to be calling the police. Jeff paid his bill and was informed he was never to come back to our facility.
