In early 2023 our company spoke with somebody from PLM who promoted their services. We told them that we planned a late-2023 or early-2024 driveway and parking lot replacement. Shortly after that conversation, we were added to an email subscription list by PLM. Every month we received promotional emails. PLM seemed very interested in our job. On September 11 2023 we said "Come give us a quote." We received a reply from "Kim" confirming our request for a quote, and they indicated that "Tom" was assigned to our project. Then, crickets chirp. Nobody returned contact for five weeks. On October 13 2023 we again said "Come give us a quote" and "Tom" appeared on the same day. He did not recognize my individual name or our company name. No measurements taken. No notes taken. He conducted only a visual inspection of the location, and left. It is now December 29 2023. We never received a quote. In fact we have never heard back from "Tom" or "Kim" at all, and see that PLM no longer sends us promotional emails. One must assume that they are no longer interested in our job. Communication needs to greatly improve.

In early 2023 we spoke with somebody from *** who promoted their services. We told them that we planned a late-2023 or early-**** driveway and parking lot replacement. Shortly after that conversation, we were added to an email subscription list by ***. The addition to the list was their idea. We did not request it. Every month we received promotional emails. *** seemed very interested in our job. On September 11 2023 we said "Come give us a quote." We received a reply from "***" confirming our request for a quote, and they indicated that "***" was assigned to our project. Then, crickets chirp. Nobody returned contact for five weeks. On October 13 2023 we again said "Come give us a quote" and "***" appeared on the same day. He did not recognize my individual name. No measurements taken. No notes taken. He conducted only a visual inspection of the location, and left. It is now December 29 2023. We never received the quote. In fact we have never heard back from "***" or "***" at all. One must assume that they are no longer interested in our job. It is now February 23rd. Over 4 months later and the company sends another advertisement but has never followed up on the original quote. We immediately ask for an explanation and, again, no response. No responses to communications? No follow-up by sales? Continued spam emails? We would never trust them to keep their word on a job, if they can't manage these simple things.

    PLM Paving and Concrete Response

    02/29/2024

2/29/2024 On Monday, February 26th, ************** responded to one of our emails that was sent out. ************** then informed us of the situation that occurred in Fall of 2023 with a bid not being submitted to him. *** needed to get information together to find out what had transpired. We decided not to respond immediately so we could investigate on our end. On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, ************** posted a review of the incident. *** does agree that ************** was not provided with a quote for his property. This action was not intentional. PLMs sales person *** has made contact with ************** along with PLMs President **** to try and rectify this situation. ************** has politely declined our offers for further discussion. This occurrence is rare for *** and we have apologized to ************** for the inconvenience.
