    I stayed at the Belltown Inn in late July. Paid $450. Room was extremely! small. Desk clerk said courtesy shuttle to ******* provided. Not so. It cost me $50+ for a cab.I have tried working with ******* (general manager?) but have had little success. I suggested to her that I was going to let as many people know about this as possible. She texted her OK to do so.She said her staff NEVER promises free shuttles. That is same as calling my wife and I a liar. They said it! ******** late today indicated she has started a $50 refund for the cab fare.I formally requested a refund. Room was not what was promised in advertisement. (******* said they were very transparent) Not so.Making frequent trips to ******* area - I will NEVER stay at the Belltown. I also plan on letting my fellow pastors (who go i and of ******* with Inspiration Cruises) for various religious retreats - to avoid Belltown Inn.Thank You

    We've spoken on numerous occasions now, and I've already responded on the various platforms you decided to leave poor reviews on. I will reiterate what we've already discussed. Our rooms are ordinary urban-core hotel sized for any dense big city. We are a simple, independent, family owned and operated, 5 story boutique style property in the heart of a large city. We do our best to remain transparent about our room sizes. All of our photos are actual un-retouched photos taken from our rooms. I'm sorry this was not a good fit for you.


    You booked your reservation on March 30th and stayed with us on July 15th at a rate well below $450 ($244.22, to be exact). We have never, and will never, operate courtesy shuttles (the third party service we use is $10 per person). It's not normal for shuttles to be free in downtown *******, and it's not reasonable to assume that. None of our public online or confirmation or marketing materials mention free shuttles. Again, to the best of my knowledge they don't exist at downtown ****** in our comp set. I am once again sorry if this is the information you believe you heard. You had informed me the cab you had to take was $50, then it was $59, then $60, now it's back at $50 - you also told other members of management it was a $30 cab. As a measure of good faith, I agreed to initiate a refund for the $50 claimed cost of the cab. I'm so very sorry that this was not satisfactory for you.
