              We stayed at Chateau Westport from 07/02-07/04/2021. My credit card was billed $391 without notice for hair dye, which was washable just for the 4th of July on perhaps 1 towel and 1 pillow case. Nothing else. It washes out easily with soap and water. The hotel billed us for all the pillows and pillow cases, all the towels, and refused to send pictures of said damages, which proves it is falsehood.

              This hotel has a cheap facelift but has deteriorated big time since we last visited. We are/ were customers of over 15yrs. Never again. They have everything shut down, pool, coffee in the lobby, items brought to rooms including towels and turn down even though the entire state is now re-open. I spoke to someone during booking who said the pool was open. Nope. My kids were told to stop playing on the lawn when it was light and 9pm on a Saturday. Then. The worst... My daughter had washable hair dye that got on one towel and one pillow case, easily washed out with soap and water and they charged us $391 for all the towels, all the sheets, and said they had to shampoo the carpet which makes zero sense especially when their carpet was filthy to begin with. They said they had "photo proof", which was never sent and doesn't exist because it didn't happen. This place has gone down hill big time and needs new management. What a joke of an establishment. Give me my money back!
