      Sleepers In Seattle Submitted an order for a new sofa bed from Sleepers in Seattle (SLEEPERS). At the time of my purchase, their website indicated that 6-10 weeks would be needed for the sofa bed to reach me. I waited 6 weeks to contact them in order to request an update as to how much longer I would need to wait before my sofa bed would at least begin the shipment process. I called and spoke with a female. Her verbage was along the lines of: "Umm, gee, hmm, well, I don't know, umm, let me get back to you on this". Weeks of calls and emails go by, and all I got were excuses when it was clear to me that the woman had failed to place my order properly with the manufacturer. I sent an email telling her that 10 weeks had gone by and also giving her another week to start the shipping process; otherwise, I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. The female replies that their website "CLEARLY" indicated that it could take 10 to 14 weeks for fulfillment. Subsequently, I performed an historic search of their website. The search clearly showed that they had changed the 6-10 weeks to ***** weeks AFTER I placed the order. So she lied, as she had obviously lied on a few other occasions.However, the ultimate consumer insult occurred a few days later when the female sent me an email saying that they were cancelling my order. So after about 11 weeks of waiting, calling, emailing and being lied to in the face, SLEEPERS IN SEATTLE RUINED THINGS FOR MY WIFE AND ME. Their behavior has obviously degraded significantly because of a lack of competence and customer caring that apparently been supported by owner and management. Stay away from these people. Go elsewhere. They are incompetent, arrogant, lying, deceitful individuals who have no business being in the retail sales industry. They have an F Rating with the Better Business Bureau, and my experience simply adds to the abysmal failure of these people to treat people with respect.

      This customer's order was cancelled due to his repeated harassment of our staff, his rude and insult laced phone calls and emails.

      We strive to maintain a positive and respectful environment for all our customers and employees. 
      The interactions we had with ************ did not align with this standard. While we can't afford to turn away business, we do promote

      inclusivity and respect for all. ************ is not the type of person we want to do business with.

      I ordered a sleeper for my unit. I received and unwrapped a "new" mattress but upon inspection it was dirty. I sent photos and after two emails sent a third advising I needed a response. Upon the third email I was told I would be sent upholstery cleaner. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE for over $3000 spent on a high end Natuzzi sleeper couch that I planned to use as my PRIMARY bed. I was so appalled by the email I received (especially given Covid health concerns) that I called and asked to speak to a manager. I documented the dirt on the mattress after I opened it with photos which was shrink wrapped and sealed. Somehow it had obviously been mishandled prior to arriving from Seattle to *************. ******** sold this to me and after I told her I am not accepting a DIRTY new mattress HUNG UP on **** want my money back and to return this, totally unacceptable customer service and mishandling of a legitimate customer concern.

      When these sofa sleepers ship, the mattress is entirely brand new, completely encased in shrink wrapped plastic. This wrapping is never opened. This absolutely did not leave our warehouse in that condition. When you accepted delivery, we were advised that you paid the delivery team to disassemble this sofa and bring it into your home. We do not know what occurred during this part of the delivery. We offered you an upholstery cleaning kit to address the issue as a courtesy. This does not qualify for a return.

      I did NOT pay for a dirty mattress which is an unacceptable and UNHYGIENIC especially during a global pandemic. I received an unclean product which is NOT what I paid for and I do not accept this response: I need a clean mattress and not receiving one should automatically enable a refund and return. I cannot believe the gall of this company. I let them know within the return period about this issue, and I can see now the unethical practices of not responding to me in a timely fashion. I do not recommend this business and I hope the BBB will want copies of the same photos I sent this company immediately upon opening the mattress. It was packed and DIRTY so it came to them in this condition from their supplier.
