Unfortunately I need to warn people about using OCCU. They just called me on a Friday to let me know that they have locked my account due to Fraudulent Activity and when you ask them what the fraudulent activity is, they cant give you a reason and will tell you that the person that can help you is taking the day off and will be in on Monday. In the meantime, theyve rejected a payment I made to **************** and also to my healthcare plan. So, OCCU is potentially ruining my ********************** rating because of some reason but they have no one available to rectify the situation because they have zero staff that can do anything about it. I called **** to explain what was going on and they said that I would be charged $39 for the returned payment - and this will be OCCUs fault, not mine. They also say that they do domestic and international wire transfers but they really dont know how to do them and will jerk you around while all the time having no intention of doing your wire transfer, and asking personal, not business questions as to why you want to do the wire transfer. I will be moving my account out of OCCU to an institution that knows what the * they are doing and can provide customer service during normal business hours. I would advise others to do the same.
