    I initially contacted Ground Up Landscaping through their website. I asked for a quote for leaves to be removed from the backyard, especially around the fence line. Photos of the backyard were included in this contact. A verbal estimate was provided to remove the leaves. Workers initially came out and removed the leaves along 2/3 of the fence line. The owner came out to view the work and he said only one section of fence line remained to be cleaned up. I explained it was for leaf removal from the yard and not just along the fence line. He became argumentative and rude. He said he had already spent too much of his crew's time on my yard and what he had to pay them was already almost over the $300 estimate. I explained that I reached out to him for leaf removal, and he said he thought I only meant the fence line. He said he went by the pictures I sent him. I explained it was not my fault he did not come out and view the property or ask for clarification prior to providing an estimate. My request on his website was for leaf removal and the pictures included the whole yard. I offered to pay him via credit card when he agreed to do the work. He said he would bill me when the work was done; but when he came out to inspect what was left to be done, he accused me of not paying him. When his crew came out to finish the work, they asked for a check; yet he said earlier that day he would bill me. His crew were friendly and professional, their boss could learn a lot from them.

    It is very unfortunate that Sheri ******  felt like that the situation wasn't handled in a professional manner.However, Sheri ****** contacted Ground Up by email on our website and stated " I have recently moved into a rental property that has not had backyard maintenance in several years.The largest concern is leaf removal along a chain link fence." I visited the property and saw leaves that were at least 2 feet deep along the fence line.I quoted $300.00 to have the leaves removed from the fence line as she had requested.The pictures she replies to were texted and shown what had already been seen when I was on the property and quoted her.I had a crew go out promptly and remove the leaves along the fence line.Sheri ******* texted afterwards and asked to " come complete the work." I went back out to the property to look at the leaf removal my crew had indeed completed as asked.It was then that Sherri ******* came out to discuss the issue and stated the job was suppose to be for the entire back yard to have leaf removal.This was not what was quoted or agreed upon or asked for in her original email request. Maintaining complete professionalism and wanting to satisfy her I offered for her to not have pay for the work expecting she would accept that offer and the situation would be resolved.However, she then got very loud and upset. Her idea that I was being rude is simply not honest or accurate.I simply wanted to end the promblem without any argument so I left and sent a crew back to get a few more leaves in a area she was concerned about as a last attemt to satisfy her.
