I lived at the Greens at Chestnut ridge for 1yr and 9mths. The property manager (Leah ********) Is a fraud! She hacks prices at her own leisure. She is also creating a work place conflict with her husband (Mike ********) being the maintenance man. He made me extremely uncomfortable a lot of days and acts like he owns the place. Ex: He came in my apartment to fix the smoke detector one day, I was getting dressed and had my door cracked open a little. He then walked down the hallway to what was my room at the time. Before he reached the door completely I made it known that I was getting dressed, and I would be out in a few seconds. He replied "That's fine" still proceeds to come to the door and continued to have a conversation with me. I felt super uncomfortable. Not only that, but prior to that day he lied to his wife, which is the property manager about my apartment being nasty, dirty and infested with roaches.mind you I am a black woman and all I have to say Is there was a lot of discrimination and stereotyping going on with those people. It's a lot more to my bad experience with this property, however I'm only giving half of what I've been through while living there. In addition to this when I moved in, the apartment was old and wasn't cleaned properly. I could tell they did temporary fixes because a week later everything In my apartment started to crumble. I Just want to warn the people moving into these apartments to check everything and don't let them get away with nothing. In conclusion Leah ******** Is disrespectful and do not care about her tenants. She is only worried about charging extra fees to benefit her.
