It is important for the patient to know that we do not determine the prices for services - they are set by the patient's insurance company. We document the services and procedures that were performed in the office, and the patient's insurance determines the cost to the patient. It is the patient's responsibility to understand their individual insurance plan and know whether they have a copay, coinsurance, or deductible when visiting a specialist's office so they know what to expect.
Due to HIPAA regulations we are unable to comment on any specific patients or patient visits in this forum, but we are always eager to speak to our patients about any concerns they may have if they call our office and ask for the Practice Administrator.

You with a hefty fee Like " how is your throat? " if you say... fine? He says... let me take a look... automatically he adds another $200+ to the bill. "How are are your ears?" If you say fine? He looks and hits yiu with another $50 fee.. etc.. etc...I have since spoken with 2 other doctors. When I told them that my copay was $615. They both flipped..There is no ethics to this group. And to add insult to injury last week I got a bill in the mail from a company that does allergy tests, which came via the Scotch Institute? Guess what... they never performed an allergy test on me. AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COST.
