On March 3rd, 2022 Jeep Dealship stated my 2013 Jeep GC needs a new came shaft and was leaking oil. I was gave an estimate of $4800. I said that was fine. The service rep then said it would be additional 9 labor hours to fix oil leak. I did not agree to this amount. Service manager said, i could save some money if i call his former head mechanic ***********************. At Renz Auto Repair. After calling ********** explained that the Dealership was try to charge me for an oil leak after tearing apart the car to diagnose a cam shaft failure. **** mentioned he would be able to beat that price.Taking into consideration 5 hours of the job was already started. He quoted me $4300 and agreed to repair cam shaft and oil leak. I picked up the car on March 24th. 2022 and paid bill in full. The following day I drove **** miles to ******* ** and immediate smelled oil burning. On March 26th , two days after picking up vehicle I called **** and told him Jeep is leaking oil. He told me to bring it back to him when i return form *******. 10 days later I arrived back in ******* and Immediate took back to *************. My back brakes were squealing , so I ask **** to give me an estimate on the back brakes. I thought he mite give me a deal after all I've been thru. On April 6th 2022, **** calls me and says it would be an additional $763. I said for brakes? **** said NO. $475.00 is for oil pan gasket. I picked up car on April 7 **** said that the gasket sealer didn't dry properly. And he cleaned everything and was good. On July 18th , after driving vehicle **** miles, oil change is due. I took to a shop in ******* ** and tech mention car is leaking oil. I immediately called **** at **** auto. He said to bring it in. I said Its been there 3 times for same leak. I would like a refund. He said you still have to bring it ii. I was in **. So , upon my arrival 2 weeks later I brought to shop and was told due to milage and time they could only issue a partial return of $188.28 and my car is still leaking
