I brought my car in to moonlight automotive 9/25/2023 they did a diagnostics on the car I was told that the harmonic balancer was gone and it needed a serpentine belt I told them our financial troubles and that we didn't have $1100.00 so they were nice enough to cut the price to $804.17 ok the part was replaced but the car was still running rough I took my car back 10/02/2023 I was told that it needed a mass air flow sensor and a purge solenoid w/ line-in moonlight automotive said that my car would be alright after all of this was done I had the mass air flow sensor done by my regular mechanic they were pretty much snap on parts moonlight automotive said that the part that was fixed was bad so I had another mass air flow sensor replaced the manager said that this one was bad also he told me that sometimes during shipping they get knocked around and don't work by the time it gets to the stores my mechanic said that's bull c*** and that they don't know what they are doing and that they don't want to admit the messed up my car so on 10/10/2023 i took my car back and told them it's still running bad so they said that they would take a look at it from 10:30am to 2:00pm after all that time the owners wife said there was nothing else they can do and that if I had of gotten the parts that was needed I wouldn't have this issue and that there are other problems that's causing the issue and that I needed to take it back to the other people that fixed on it because they were probably the ones that messed it up so I took my car and left before I could get down the street my car couldn't get any speed what's so ever it sounded as if it was going to blow up i could not get any speed i had to put on my caution lights and I had to go to a nearby park and I called moonlight automotive back telling them that the car is destroyed it won't go any further the owners wife said there's nothing they can do they could call a tow truck but that's it and we ended up sleeping in the park that night because we didn't know what to do we are homeless and all my money from a loan went into that car my son he is on SSI part of his check went towards our car so now we are stuck until the police comes and hall us and car away .
