Nemeth Air installed a new Trane unit in my condo August 25, 2018. On July 18, 2022 I was told that I had a leak and that my coil had to be replaced. Although the coil was covered under warranty, I had to pay $950 for labor to replace the coil. I had no other option but to pay the $950 to have it repaired even though I voiced my complaint about having to do so while the unit was still under warranty. I came back to my *************** in April of 2023 to find that my A/C was running an running all night even though it was not very hot out. I called a local A/C company because I was upset about what Nemeth did to me and was told that I had a leak and that the pan that was just installed just 9 months ago was cracked. The technician from this other company believed that the pan was cracked and appeared to be glued together. This company offered to order me a new pan and I had to pay their bill of $220 for their technician come out there and provide the service call. I decided to go back to the company that installed my A/C and replacement coil in the first place (Nemeth Air) even though I was already upset that I had to pay them $950 less than 4 years after the brand new unit was installed. I was told that the pan was cracked due to freon leaking and that it would cost me another $950 but that they would discount it to $750! Why would freon be leaking? and why would it be so bad that it would crack the pan? Honestly, I never even had one problem with the old unit I had there, I just replaced it because it was old, but it never gave me any problems! My A/C unit has been turned off in 90 degree weather now since April 11th!! This company should not be in business and should not treat their customers this way! Their only suggestion? complain to Trane! if I want the pan installed this week, they need my credit card. When does it end? Seek out another A/C company, one that stands by their product and their technician's work.
