Cheap caribbean is a rip off .We book vacation for the family for july 4 thru 7 2024 .Around the 2 and third of july hurricane ***** was going to hit ******* so frontier airline canceled our flight and cheap caribbean won't refund me my 2800 dollars.I can't control a hurricane and thats gods work.Cheap caribbean is a scam and a Rip Off dont ever use them.Review from Ruth R

I paid for their travel protection which states you can cancel for any reason and receive a full refund, minus the protection. However when I cancelled they only want to give me travel credit and are denying paying me the money they owe me. I filed a claim with my credit cards and one of them has reapplied the payment because Cheap Caribbean disputes my claim. If they are not going to give a refund they should state that in their travel protection policy. This is FALSE ADVERTISING. I am still going to fight this claim and advise anyone seeking to vacation packages: DO NOT USE CHEAP CARIBBEAN FOR YOUR TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS.Review from Adrienne L

RIP OFF! I paid for travel insurance and I called a month in advance and sent them a chat to cancel thinking they took care of it and they said I had to click on a link which I never received and I said specifically in the chat that I need to cancel my trip and I called him and said they have no credit for *******!Review from SHIANNA P

By far the worst experience EVER! They took $2,150.00 worth of funds with "rules" that aren't public records/on their website - "it's in their system where they can look at it only". The customer service is unprofessional and straight up, and I quote, "TRASH". You're on hold for about one whole hour min. per call but you will call at least 3-5 times per week, no exaggerations! At this point, I'd like to start a class action suit as no one has money to waste or just to give away in this economy. If you are reading this PLEASE, I beg you to not use this travel agency to purchase any trips - you won't be satisfied and/or end up like me losing over TWO THOUSAND dollars. OH! And to add I tried to cancel within the 24 hour range (actually it was 10.5 hours) so per policies I should not have been charged any penalties!!!!Review from Deanise S

We booked our vacation with Cheap Caribbean to go to RIU REGGAE and were DUPED/SCAMMED. In the package we supposed to have received coupons/money to use on the resort for different services.Renova Spa - $200 in coupons Weddings by Riu - $100 in coupons Scuba Caribe - $180 in coupons Photography - $40 in coupons Margaritaville - $5 in coupons ************************************** - $129 When we went to the spa to use the coupons/money they told us we had to split it into four different spa services. Which meant we wouldve had to pay more money. Cheap Caribbean never told us that nor was it in the agreement.Nowhere in the itinerary/package did it state this CON.We were misled and deceived.We called CheapCaribbean multiple times at least seven times during our vacation, and all we got was them hanging up on us. Unprofessional.And some online numbers didnt even work. The problem wasnt never resolved nor rectified because no one didnt want to deal with the situation now that they got our money. Btw- none of the coupons were used!WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CHEAP CARIBBEAN. Please stay far away from Cheap Caribbean. Youve been warned, unfortunately at our expense and a horrible experience.Their name speaks for itself Cheap.. and not in a good way, but bad.??Review from Alison B

I booked hotel and airfare to ****** for my honeymoon on 7/7/24-7/11/24. The flight was canceled and I was given no other alternate flights from ********, nor were they willing to cover my hotel cost. The customer service rep I spoke with at ********************** Caribbean offered me a full refund for the flight portion or travel credits, plus a 50% refund of the hotel cost as travel credits. I opted for the amount in full in travel credits since the refund would take ***** days and I was just going to book another trip. I was told I'd receive these in 1-2 business days. It's been almost a week. Since then, I've spent 15+ hours on hold/on the phone with agents trying to resolve the issue. They sent me FLIGHT credits only, for the same airline that canceled my honeymoon (why would I want to fly with them again?), and are claiming I'll get my credits corrected "soon", but I want to rebook for a vacation next week. No one is able to help, and I'm ready to file a charge back on the original purchase.Review from Monique P

TERRIBLE! This company should be shut down. **************** is AWFUL AND RUDE. Unprofessional, and even a supervisor hung up on me and tried to say the call disconnected. Nope. Those are two different tones on the phone when a call is disconnected compared to ended. Prior, I asked her for a new supervisor since she was unprofessional and she REFUSED. She just kept telling me Im not doing that. When I mentioned I wanted to file a complaint about their poor customer service, thats when she hung up. Its such a scam what theyre doing. I swear they change bookings in order to trick people out of money. This is ridiculous.CheapCaribbean.com, Incorporated Response

We were traveling from ****** to ***********. Upon arriving a *** we were told that we were in the wrong airport. We should have been in LAQ one half hour away. There was no shuttle waiting for us and had to hail a taxi. The line was approx. 30 people deep. Being in tears and frightened about missing our plane a dispatcher for taxis felt bad for us and got a ride to the next airport. It cost us $50 plus a $20 dollar tip in which the driver asked for more but did not get more. Why should I have paid this amount of money out of our pocket. Cheap Caribbean should pay up. Now in trying to get ahold of them I went into for chat rooms and no one could help me. They said **** to go to the support of after travel group. No luck reading anyone there (three times trying). I finally thought if I picked a number to get someone I would go to "make a reservation and sure enough they answered that line (of course). The first person said they would connect me to the right extension and got hung up on. Called again and was put in touch with someone and was told that they would pass on the information but was not guaranteed anything would be done. This was a week ago and still have not heard from them. I have been using Cheap Caribbean for years and feel this was a slap in the face.Review from Abe J

Awful business.Book a trip last year that I had to cancel. The gave me most of the money in credit and told me I have 13 months to BOOK a trip.I go on their site to book a trip within the 13 months and I was not able to use my credit.I called them and explained the website error. They told me that I had 13 months to TRAVEL not book.I asked them to bring up the recorded conversation I had last year. But they refused. They took my money and I received no service/trip.DO NOT use this site or any sister site.Review from Isshai K

This company is a scam. I came to the DR today, and when we got here, our reservation was with a hotel but they did not pay for it. We have been playing phone tag with these people to get a room for the entire day... so I decided to pay 1 night at the hotel they booked, which was not all inclusive, to buy time to figure out the scam. We asked for refunds and they dont know the amount... this is unfair. Save your money
