I hired Coronado's to replace the tile, coping and to re-surface my pool. I hired them in July 2020 and the job was done at the end of April 2021. They did an adequate job. It costs me a large amount to have this work completed. My issue with this company is that after I had the work done, during the week following when the job was completed, I noticed my pool was losing water. I contacted Coronado's and they recommended a pool leak service. I hired the pool leak company (It cost $495 for 2 hours). The leak was located in one of my spa jet/blower lines. There are 4 lines in this area of my pool. As the summer progressed, I developed a leak in each of the other 3 spa jet/blower lines. I had to bring back the pool leak company and pay another additional bill to locate the cause these of pool leaks. Due to this leak issue, I did not feel I could trust Coronado's therefore I hired another company to do the repair work; this new company came highly recommended. The pool was already at this house when I moved in 15 years ago. I did not have any leaks in this pool for the 15 years that I lived here. After Coronado's remodeled my pool, four leaks developed beginning in May 2021 through September 2021. The pool leak company and the repair company informed me that these leaks were caused by the jackhammer and/or chisels utilized during the demolition of the old tile and coping. Coronado's denies causing these leaks. I have communicated via email many times, during this period and into the fall, with the site supervisor from Coronado's. It costs me $7000 to have these leaks repaired and all Coronado's was willing to give me was $2400. I told them this was unacceptable because they caused the leaks, and they were paid a significant amount for the remodel. All I wanted was for them to reimburse me for the additional $7000 that I had to pay to have the leaks repaired, the leaks that they caused. They are not willing to do this for me. I do not recommend this company for pool renovations. They are unprofessional and insensible to the client's concerns, particularly Byron.
