      Location & Hours Map 250 N Main St Shrewsbury, PA 17361 Search within reviews Yelp Sort Virginia W. York, PA 01 6/2/2021 I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!! This was my first encounter with SYTT; We purchased a Cub Cadet from Home Depot July 2020. We also purchased an additional service contract for $230. My husband thought he ran over a root and it wasn't cutting evenly so he replaced the blades. It still wasn't cutting evenly so I after 3 weeks of calls to Cub Cadet and Home Depot to get assistance and file a claim, they scheduled service with SYTT to have it looked at. They said they had already done this 2 weeks before but NO ONE FROM SYTT EVER CALLED TO LET ME KNOW A TIME OR DATE FOR PICK UP AND NOW THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A SECOND TIME -- SO I HAD TO CALL THEM! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM! OFFICE SERVICE STAFF (CHRISTY) WAS NOT JUST RUDE BUT DOWNRIGHT IGNORANT! WOULD NOT LISTEN TO WHAT I WAS TRYING TO TELL HER. We were covered for transportation and 50% off of parts such as blades, belts, etc. I asked her if she would take the manager's name at Home Depot in case there were any questions. SHE REFUSED. I became frustrated with her inability to comprehend what I was trying to explain and refusing to take the name of the person I was referring to at Home Depot that was helping me with the Cub Cadet warranty AND separate additional $230 service plan we purchased. I then asked to speak to the "warranty person" she had referred to. SHE SAID NO, THAT HE COULDN'T COME TO THE PHONE. I ASKED IF HE COULD CALL ME BACK AND SHE STATED "WE WILL BE OUT ON WEDNESDAY," (6/2/21) AND HUNG UP ON ME! They were supposed to pick up our tractor TODAY BUT NO ONE SHOWED UP by 2pm. I called there and asked the receptionist (who was very sweet) if they were still coming out. She then told me she saw nothing in the system. I explained that I had talked to Christy last Tuesday and was told they would be out today. CHRISTY GOT ON THE PHONE AND SAID, "WE CANCELLED YOUR SERVICE". When I then asked what she was talking about she said, "YOU NEED BLADES AND THEY AREN'T COVERED SO YOU NEED TO CALL YOUR WARRANTY COMPANY"! I WAS SHOCKED AND STILL CONFUSED. I SAID, "THE MOWER STILL NEEDS TO BE FIXED; EVEN IF IT IS JUST THE BLADES. THIS SERVICE WAS SET UP BY CUB CADET SO WHAT ABOUT ANYTHING THAT IS WARRANTIED?" I CONTINUED - THAT IS WHAT I WAS TRYING TO TELL YOU LAST WEEK. THE ADDITIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT COVERS TRANSPORTATION AND 50 % OFF COMMON PARTS. YOU WOULDN'T LISTEN LAST WEEK. ALSO -- I ASKED WHY NO ONE HAD CALLED TO LET ME KNOW THEY PULLED IT OUT OF THE SYSTEM. SHE THEN, AGAIN, IGNORED ME AND SAID, "GO BACK TO HOME DEPOT", AND HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN! Frustrated once more at her, I called back and asked the receptionist if Christy was the manager or owner and she said no. I then asked to speak with a manager or owner. The receptionist apologized first and said that Christy had come over and pulled the phone out of her hand and said, "I'll talk to her." The receptionist placed me on hold this 2nd time to get the owner who she said was Linda. Linda never came to the phone and the receptionist came back on and said that, per Linda, "TAKE YOUR MOWER BACK TO HOME DEPOT AND CALL CUB CADET". I asked the receptionist if Linda was, in fact, the owner and the receptionist said yes she is. Just a note - Cub Cadet set up this service initially for me. SYTT never looked at the mower so how does Christy determine there is nothing wrong with it that is warrantied? I called Home Depot back and spoke to the manager there who was assisting me with this claim. I explained what had just taken place and he was not happy either. I'm not sure what is wrong with these two women but I would never go to this store knowing that is how they treat people. No courtesy, no phone call, cancelling service without notification, hanging up on people and lying. SHOULD THEY REALLY IN BUSINESS AT ALL LET ALONE A CUB CADET SERVICE MEMBER? 1 STAR ONLY BECAUSE THERE IS NOT A "NO-RATING" CHOICE"
