            I was on a ******** ****** in May of 2022 when on disembarkement I fell and shattered my ankle in *****, **. (we live in ****). We were carrying travelers insurance (***) when this happened and were assured when the policy took place that everything would be ok. It is now almost Feb 2023 and *** will still not accept responsiblity for the documents I have provided, the bills that are piling up or help in any way to finanically expect responsibility. Looking at their profile on ********* I wish we had studied them more, there thousands of people like me who are suffering. This company should be ashamed of themselves as well as the cruise lines for allowing a company to represent them. I have called every single week, have provided documentation that they claim I have not provided (even when I have proven I have), given them more information then they need to make it helpful and yet I am here waiting. I was out of work for 3 months, needed surgery, physical therapy and countless doctors appointments and medications. Its pretty obvious this company only cares about themselves. *** is a joke and should be held responsible for every action and reaction as they have put so many of us in.

            I filed claim for "trip interruption" with this travel insurance agency. Me (and 2 of my friends) booked vacation (to Ecuador) in June, and paid for full coverage (premium) insurance for all reasons. Our trip was delayed for 24 hours due to flight cancellation (reason that we cannot control), as well as transportation fees that we paid since we arrived 24 hours later, and company had to assign driver to pick us up at airport at Ecuador and catch up with the group. We lost 24 hours of vacation that include 1 night at Hilton hotel at Quito, Ecuador, trips that were planned for that day. Upon return to US, I filed claim with our travel insurance company, and submitted all documentation that they requested, including receipt for travel expense, proof of flight cancellation, proof of flight rescheduling for next day in 24 hours. However, so far company does not return my requests for update, does not issue any refunds. The only email from this company was reply from :claim examiner" without name, which was totally unrelated to my questions. This company is fraud, and they just collect money without issuing any service and any explanations.

I would like to clarify the roles of the parties involved, TravelSafe is the processing center for the short term travel protection plan you purchased. TravelSafe travel protection is underwritten by United States Fire Insurance Company, Co-ordinated Benefit Plan, is the third party administrator that is contracted by United States Fire Insurance Company to provide claims adjudication services. TravelSafe has contacted Co-Ordinated Benefit Plan to follow up with your concerns regarding your TravelSafe claim and have been advised a partial payment was approved and additional information was requested. While we understand the frustration of the handling of your claim, all claims must be processed in accordance with the policy language, without proper documentation a claim can not be processed in it's entirety. If you have any further concerns regarding your claim, please feel free to contact TravelSafe.
