              I booked Thomas Shepherd Inn 7/25-7/27. I have severe pet allergies, and was not told by anyone that a cat lives on the premises and was allowed to freely roam in and out of guest rooms between visits. When I arrived, I could immediately smell that this was a cat house. Nonetheless I found my room in hopes that this was limited to the common areas. Upon entering my room, I found the cat in the very room that I had prepaid for. I attempted to ventilate the space with the provided tower fan I found in the armoire, however since the rooms windows were unable to be opened, I was limited in my ability to resolve the issue. Do to a sneezing attack and anticipation of not getting much rest, I was forced to leave within one hour. I emailed the property owners politely explaining the issue and asking for a refund, and they replied that there was no pet odor, and blamed me for not predicting the presence of a cat in my room, refusing a refund.
