            Overview

            On March 19, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Australian government announced the closure of its borders to tourist travel, halting our operations with no possibility of resuming before the summer of 2020. Down Under Sports has done its best to stay in business during these extraordinary times. The inability to provide the promised travel is due to an event of force majeure or impossibility of performance being experienced by the worldwide tourism industry. We can no longer plan for the 2021 tournaments in the current global climate and there is no possibility that we can survive another year to resume operations for 2022. The costs and associated overhead had already been incurred prior to the closing of the Australian border for the pandemic. We are working with our advisors to provide a pro rata distribution on account of the payments for those who seek them.

            My son was invited to participate in the DownUnder Sports Cross Country Team for 2020. He was scheduled to leave June 27, 2020. Of course, the event was canceled because of the pandemic. However, our $300 deposit was never refunded.
