Literally just charged me $60 dollars because I clicked the "learn more" button while on a free trial. Absolute scam artists.

Sketchy business told me if I canceled I wouldn't be able to use the membership I'd paid for. I asked via chat to ensure that my account would not renew in that case since I was unhappy with the quality of service/product. They assured me my account would not renew and then it did. I was charged a renewal fee and contacted them about it and they said there are no refunds. This was the same story I got last time and the agreement we'd reached was that I wouldn't dispute the charge, but wanted a guarantee that the service would not renew. That didn't happen. It renewed, and now I they are playing the same game. So, I need to dispute the charge. Super fraud-y company, stay away.

Deceptive billing and unethical cancellation I signed up for a trial that was marketed as 3 days free, but the moment I used a small amount of the service, they instantly charged my card without any confirmation or warning. There was no email receipt or clear notification that usage would override the trial period. When I asked for a refund, I was offered a partial refund ($50 minus $10) only if I asked and before that process was even finished, they canceled my subscription without telling me and without refunding anything at all.Their practices are shady, and they hide behind credits and misleading trial language. This company is not BBB-accredited, and based on reviews Ive now seen, this seems to be a common scam ********* not trust this service stay away and dispute with your credit card company immediately if charged.

The product works great. They get a star for that. The problem is that their pricing and billing practices are very clearly and, I believe intentionally, deceptive. When you sign up for the product they offer you a three-day free trial of the paid web-based app. They clearly state on the checkout page verbatim: "After your trial ends, you will be charged $60.00 per year starting [date 3 days from today]. You can always cancel before then."However, it is not at all what happens because their service is not time based, it's time and credits based. All the "free trial" does is load 250 free credits into your account, that you have 3 days to use. The credits are the ACTUAL thing you pay for when you buy the subscription, and you need to stay subscribed to use them. Meaning you can "use up" your 3-day trial in 20 seconds by processing a 250-word piece of text through their app. And as soon as that happens, even if it's literally the same hour you signed up and you're not expecting another billing on the agreed upon date, they charge you to use the app. Right away. Not in three days, but as soon as you want to keep using the app. No confirmation screen, no "you agree to pay $X.** immediately" warning, not even an invoice sent to my email. My credit card is the only place with any evidence of this ************** short, they intentionally market a "three day trial" when the reality is that the quantity of days you use this platform don't matter--you just lose the credits when your trial/"subscription" expire. All they do is sell credits. That's it. That's what your "subscription" buys. Imagine you sign up for a home delivery subscription service to deliver groceries every month. But, if they detect you run out of food, they automatically bill you for next month's service immediately. And if you cancel your service, they come to your house and take back the food they delivered. Now you understand why this is unethical and deceptive pricing.
