    I brought my vehicle here on 28 Aug, I dropped off my vehicle at 0830 for my appointment. They started working on my vehicle around 1300 (my car app alerted me to the doors being opened). I paid $405 for the service with a military discount included. I was informed to pick up the car around *********, I paid for the windows to be tinted. I bought my new 2025 ****** Crown Signia about 2 weeks ago, it was in perfect condition. Once I received my car back, I had already left the business but called them immediately and took photos of the scratches located directly underneath the window on the frame and about 2 inches down on the paint. I contacted the business and left a message, my call was returned and the man I spoke to said "I did a walk around myself and the car was fine so it was most likely you". I then explained I took it directly from the place of business to home and nothing had touched the vehicle. He then explained again, "With black vehicles we make sure to do a thorough walk through so it wasn't us". Immediately was defensive and deflecting the blame to me. I dropped off a car that wasn't scratched and was returned a vehicle that was damaged. I paid $400 for window tint not to have my brand new vehicle damaged as well. The business was not willing to admit wrong or fix the damage.

    The vehicle That the customer brought in was very dirty, out side.  We always try to be very carful and professional with every customers vehicle.  We only use hard plastic and rubber tool.  At no point do we use any metal tools that may cause damage.  We asked the customer when the called to bring the car back the next morning  so we can look the damages.    They never showed up.  They  just filed the complaint.   We would have been happy to look at scratches.   Its very hard to accept fault or offer help when we cant look at damages .   We  Applicate all customers and respect their property, and would love to offer a solution or help but cant over the phone.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I dont feel comfortable going back to the business because of the way I was talked to over the phone. The blame was immediately put on me for something I did not cause. Id rather not continue to be berated in person as well. Ive included photos of the damage in the original complaint. Additionally, never stated it was a metal tool and thats why I supplied the photos. I wouldve preferred to solve this directly but dont feel comfortable based on the conversation when I expressed my concerns. Ive also included photos of the day when said car was covered in dirt and unable to see, which is also untrue.

    I hope the customer will accept or apologies if there was any misunderstandings or if we had made her feel like we deflected the blame on her.  We always try to make each customer feel comfortable on the phone and in person.   I spoke with the employee that answered the phone and he stated that the phone call with her was nice.  He stated that her boyfriend called and said this is shoty  work.  Employee mentioned to him as well   to bring it in so we can look at it. Again I would have been more than happy to resolve this, that would make the  customer happy with the results, to avoid situations like this.   This is a professional business and we would have not have treated her in a uncomfortable way,  if she would have come back.  I will be more that happy to reach out to the customer if she is ok with that, so this can be resolved.  We do appreciate her business, and value her as a customer.

    Hello BBB after seeing the scratches, ( image provided), they are very excessive.   There really not any way that have occurred will applying window tint, Or any ************** while handling her vehicle.  Even the   chrome trim is scratched, and looks like scratches are going in two different directions.  I wonder if the customer has any pictures of door prior to day she brought her car?  We do have outside and shop cameras. I will try to find the footage of the day she brought her vehicle in.  We offered help as stated in previous comments.  This is a professional business and no way will she be treated poorly.    In 30 plus years in business I've never had a vehicle damaged  to that extent.  Thanks for giving the opportunity to add to this complaint.   Private Eyes has been a part of the BBB for a very long time and would never try to jeopardize  our reputation.
