All these reviews are accurate! I went in for a "consult" they asked a few questions and poked around a bit. At no point was cost or coverage mentioned. They set me up for a sleep study and CT scan, which hasn't happened yet. I suddenly received a bill for $1100! That's insane! No way I'm going back there!

Went in for initial convo, came out with a $700 bill with no information telling me it would be that much, they basically told me it was an intake session and then billed it as an out patient procedure, I didn't even see an actual specialist! On top of that, when I called to ask them why, I got no response and then next thing I know, I got sent to a collections agency. DO NOT recommend, just a big old money grab, wish I had checked the other reviews before I went.

Thank you for your feedback. We take all reviews to heart and this is no exception. ADVENT is a patient-centric organization that strives to deliver results in an efficient manner for people, which is why medical evaluation and treatment starts at the first visit. In effort of transparency, patient authorization is obtained from before an endoscopy procedure is performed by one of our board-certified Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners. Since 2004, we've operated in the best interest of our patients, not our pocketbooks, and are happy to answer any additional questions offline at ************.

This place is a rip off. My husband had nose surgery to open his airways. What they charge insurance is crazy. His bill was more than when he had his prostate removed. About $50,000. His follow up visits for them to look in his nose and pull out some scabs cost $1800 each visit. He had surgery in December of 2022 and his last visit was January of 2023 and we just we received a bill today May of 2024 for his last visit that wasn’t covered. That was over a year ago. Really get some better billing. Why am I getting a bill over a year later. I had to go look up my eob and saw it was filled in March of 2023. Go someplace else unless you have money to throw out the window

BEWARE OF YOUR BILLING, particularly if you are on ********* I had a 30 minute consult with only a PA, and two weeks later received a bill that was submitted to my insurance and ******** for $1,095.57, of which $700.39 was for a "nasal endoscopy" THAT WAS NEVER PERFORMED. The office visit alone, again only with a PA was for $395.18. If I had not called to question these charges all would have been paid for false claims submitted to my insurance and ********* I was told they would look into it and would call me back immediately with their findings, of course which they never did. I followed up only to find that they admitted falsely submitting those charges and a correction would be made. I can't comment on their professional medical services as I did not pursue further, but Advent appears to be more of a corporation than a medical service charging extremely high for services that may or may not have been preformed. Let's face it, all that advertising you hear and see has to get paid somehow! Reading through previous reviews overcharging for services not performed seems to be the norm.

Initial visit/assessment was $1,095.57. My copay helped but the surprise, additional $700 “surgical procedure” was not covered. Read other 1 star reviews and you’ll see the same charges and billing practices! They are not up front about pricing, questionable billing practices, and surprise billing. I was excited to finally get some answers and improve my breathing. They were in-network and their providers were actually recommended when searching through my health network website. The office was clean, front desk personal were nice. I was required to pay an upfront copay, this matched what I was expecting based on my insurance plan, so no surprise or issues there. I thought the PA I worked with was very knowledgeable and thorough, or so I thought. As part of the initial exam I was told they needed to do a nasal endoscopy. Next, I was told a CT was wanted but that insurance won’t cover it until at least two rounds of antibiotics were tried. So antibiotics and nasal sprays were ordered, a CT scan was scheduled for a few months later and I was on my way. About a month later I received a large bill for a surgical procedure. The nasal endoscopy was billed as a separate, surgical procedure and not covered by my insurance. I had no idea this was not part of the initial visit and was being charged separately, let alone as a surgery to my insurance. I can only imagine what the CT or procedure would cost! Initial visit billed at just under $398.18, thankfully only $30 copay Separate surprise surgery billed at $700.39, cost reduced for in-network with **** but $382 billed out of pocket As someone else who works in healthcare, I will do my best to make sure people stay clear of Advent and its providers due to these shady practices.

Scam! I had endoscopic surgery last May and Im worse now with my breathing, sleeping and snoring than before! When I did the consultation I was ensured it would be at least 5 60% better but even immediately after the surgery in my post appointments they had to snip extra skin/tissue which they said was perfectly normal. When I asked to see the doctor that performed the surgery, he was never available. I plan to pursue legal actio.

I used services through this business which some of the charges seemed extreme for the service however I agreed to the pay the amount billed. I had set up a payment plan in August or September and have had (2) payments already withdrawn from my account automatically and I am still get sent to collections for a bill that is not even 90 days old. I feel this a a type of harassment.

I had been to MANY Dr's previously & they all took scans which showed there was nothing wrong with me. I went to Advent & they were the first Dr's to actually use a scope to look into my nose. They did tell me they only had 1 clinic which would be in network for me - so I had no surprises when they told me how much the procedure would be. I have had the procedure & so far the results are GREAT! I would suggest Advent to anyone with breathing or snoring problems!
